May I present to you Wheel Running In the Wild, a published research paper that delights me to no end:

This paper intended to test whether would mice would run on a wheel if they found one, to try and determine if this was a natural behavior or a stress response in captivity. They put a wheel in a protected little box with a camera that took pictures any time the wheel turned, and tallied up how often it was used by what.

Mice were, happily, the most common users of the wheel, and their patterns of use indicated they were doing so voluntarily once they figured it out.

But the second most common users.

Those were slugs.

Did you hear? They're selling limited edition Bread blind boxes at the circus today. If you get the chase rare, it also comes with a keychain shaped like a slice of American Cheese. I'm gonna try to get there early before the resellers get them all.

she changed the rules. i am being evicted without the grace period i was told i would have. it's too late

all tthe sockets in the house stopped working due to dodgy electrical work. can't be fixed until at least Tuesday and it sounds like a tough and therefore expensive job so i need anything I can get. without this being fixed I'm without internet other than 2gb of data which I'm rationing, and i have no access to any files not on my phone, which is most of them. there's also a chance (but not a guarantee) that if i get £2000 before the end of September i won't be evicted but i don't expect that to happen. i will not be back online until tomorrow so as not to run down the data I'll need for the whole month, so this post can't be updated in that time if i receive any donations, sorry

Concert in the Egg

Had our third official game day for our local tgirl baseball league yesterday! Had an incredible turnout and some great games of baseball!

We had enough gals to field 4 teams and play 2 full games! It was a blast and I had so much fun hanging out and taking pictures

Some friends and I are having a silly debate about a ridiculous hypothetical: An exact clone of you magically appears. It has all your knowledge, memories, skills, etc up to the point of the clone's creation. They know they are a clone and you know they are the clone. Nobody else knows which is the clone or original.

Do you try to share lives with the clone? Kill the clone (surprisingly common answer amongst my friends)? Tell the clone to go live another life despite having the memories of friendship and such with everyone you know? Something else?

I've been thinking about this for a while. I don't trust my parents, but I don't know if it's my anxiety disorder's fault or theirs. I didn't have the happiest childhood, but my brother will see nothing wrong with them. Is it their fault?
