Note, hopefully this doesn't come across as blaming one or the other of the guys, I'd like to think that there's no one at fault, just a set of circumstances that led somewhere unexpected. That it's a place the boys can come back from. Hey, a girl can dream.

The problem with tumblr is that you really can't chat there properly. Not about just nothing things. Like for instance, I'm at my parents place for the holidays and right now, there are just too many people around. My neice and my brother-to-be-in-law and my sisters and my parents. Which doesn't seem like much, I'm sure, but jesus. I just need to not have to interact for a bit.

And yet if I try that, I then get sought out and grumped at to do xyz or that I didn't do blah, or a guilt trip from the parents about being too old to deal with this many people on their own etc.

I do miss the days when Livejournal was popular. These days I find myself wanting to write out my thoughts and feeling stifled. So I guess I'll just write an entry and put it out into the void and if no one is around to comment, then so be it, you know?

I hope all my fellow LJ friends from before and now are all having happy Christmases and for those also having trouble with having to be sociable that it isn't too onerous.
