QotD ending

So sorry for the idiot spammer guys I've been a little lax in my LJ mod duties as of late. I'll try to be a better mod, especially for this lovely com I love. So the previous entry is gons and will momentarily be banned., have a nice day/night/whatever!

Happy Early Anniversary, QotD!

Can you guys actually believe it's been nearly 10 years since this awesome movie been released? I actually like to think of it as an AU of the first VC movie (and yet another AU to the books).

It's terrible however that it won't ever have a sequel of it's own (at least not with the same actors). I would've loved to have known what other adventures Lestat and Jesse, Marius and David and the others would've had (possibly together)


I know there are books and I've read most of them (MerrIck! was the straw that broke the camels back for me) I should've stopped reading immediately after Memnoch (Anne calls it her favorite VC novel. Ugh! I don't see how, it was terrible I must've used 5 barrels worth of brain bleach as I was reading it!) from that point on it was all downhill from there (although both TVA and Pandora had it's moments)

So yes, in short I feel the books should have ended after QotD or at the very latest, TotBT.

OT: Just your friendly neighborhood mod here!

Seeing as LJ is being a bit snitty and will begin purging accounts and communities for being unactive for 24 months or more. Then I looked at the date of the last entry here and so I thought I'd post. I suggest to anyone else here who has unactive journals or communities you'd like to keep, to sign into them or post or check on the last posted entry. It could save us all some unwanted grief.


I really hope that it doesn't happen but I'm erring on the side of caution.
