"Is there some way you can be out on your own?/Trust yourself/Don't waste another day at all"

So I haven't updated in forever, as usual, and a lot has changed/happened since then. To start with, summer's over. Sad, I know. And yea, a lot happened during the summer after the last post, but the big thing was D.C. w/Mike. It included my first plane trip w/o any family members. The first day it was pretty much just me and Mike walkin' around, which was awesome. The next day was me, Mike, and Mike's dad, brother, and uncle. That was good too. That was Mike's brother's birthday too. I wish I could go to D.C. on my birthday, but who wants to go there in December? I'd rather go to Disney or Hawaii, lol. :P Umm...yea, so the final full day involved drama before we headed out, but I'm not gonna get into that. Let's just say it didn't involve Mike or his fam', and that was about the only good thing about it. I ended-up havin' a pretty good day tho' cuz I was w/Mike and I can't really stay upset for a full day when I'm w/him. :) One of the cool things I got to do during the trip was visit The Navy Memorial and get information on my grandfather. My grandmother had enrolled him in it, but never got the chance to go. My mom hadn't either, so it was pretty cool that I was the one to get to. :)

I have a ton of pictures from the trip. Day 1 and 2 are up on my facebook now, the rest'll be up prob' by that dumb holiday that celebrates the stupidity of a guy thinking this was India.

Another cool summer thing was my last hurrah, shall we say, before classes started. I saw Shakira w/Mike on the 5th. :D It was my 1yr. anniversary present and it was AWESOME. :D There was a cool D.J. up first, then Wyclef who was awesome, then Shakira. And in-between Wyclef and Shakira this like 60yr. old woman danced her @$$ off to "Baba O'Riley". If you're facing the stage, she was up to the right, not on the floor. I think I was one of the first people to notice her too. At first, it looked like she was just tryin' to embarrass the girls w/her (maybe her granddaughters or daughters or neices possibly), but then people around her started to notice, and then I did, and before too long practically the whole Garden was watchin' her. It was so cool. Like, good for her, she was havin' a good time for herself. :P And then the second the song was over, lights out, people started cheering (whether it was for her or the fact that Shakira was coming on, or both, who really knows...I was cheerin' for her :P), and Shakira was on. :D She was awesome. Thinking back on it, I still can't believe I actually saw her live...pretty cool. :) And I got a school-sized Shakira notebook which I'm now using for Intermediate Spanish. :) (The only shirt I kinda' wanted was $50. :o Yes, $50 ...and I wasn't gonna pay that.)

So as I said, classes started the day after the Shakira concert. And I didn't mean classes at FSC...although they started there that day too. Nope, I'm goin' to BSC now...full-time. And I didn't get on-campus housing, so I'm livin' off-campus at the apartment.

So my classes...: Mondays+Wednesdays I have Homer Simpson for President (yes, that's a real class) and Intermediate Spanish. I've already had my first test in I.S. and got an 89. :) Tuesdays I have Writing II and Human Communication Skills. I was actually dreading H.C.S. cuz I knew I'd have to make at least 2 speeches in that class, but now I think it's my favorite class. The professor's really good, like she knows how to keep people's attention and she goes off on tangents, but not boring ones, often enough, and she makes the class interesting. The atmosphere's good in there.

Writing II is dumb just cuz it's more work and stuff I know. I don't feel like I need to be in there, and most of the kids (yes, KIDS) look so young in there.

Anywayz, Thursdays I have Writing II again and then Music: A Listening Approach. Originally I had Foundations of Logical Reasoning (::shoots self::) after Writing II, but I luckily found out I didn't need to be in there and switched it for M: A.L.P. I think I'm the only one in that class who actually finds the stuff interesting. Like Vivaldi is now my new hero...although I love Haydn too. I guess I really am an orchestra nerd. :\ I got the first test that I took in that class since I officially added it back last night...an A. :)

So yea, life is pretty-much better here. My mom barely drives me crazy anymore now that we don't live in the same place. It's great. I haven't even been home since Labor Day. :) The only thing that sucks is my real friends...like, MY real friends, not Mike's, aren't nearby at all. So you guys must visit. The wife's off the hook cuz she is tomorrow, and Casey, I know you can't right now cuz you're at school yourself, but Meg, you need to. Well you're off the hook for now cuz I'll be seein' you next weekend, but you're visitin' me in late October unless I'm around Framingham around then. ::Glares::. :P

Mike's friends have been over a couple times already, and that's been cool, but I miss mine. :\

Um...so I think that's it except that I saw Sugarcult for free this past Monday thanks to Ian, I went w/Mike (of course), and they were good as always. :) I still have to put the Shakira pics, Red Sox pics (o yea, I went to the Sox/Jays game the last day of August w/Mike and we won :)), and Sugarcult pics up on facebook...dunno when I'll get to that tho'. :P

   So yea, that's it, buh-bye.

Yay for no bad Thursday! :P

So for once Thursday didn't suck last week. Yayyyyyy! :P
Ummm...yea. So Thursday I hung-around, watched the game, finished my resume and showed it to the wife. I could've gone out, since Meg invited me, but I was havin' a good time just relaxin' and hangin' around the house. Plus, by the time I found out I could've, sushi arrived. :P

Friday, I got ready and then dropped off the resume w/the wife before heading to Coolidge. Mike ended-up being only a mile ahead of me, and then when I went to loop around the fire station, he ended-up being right in front of me, haha.
So we got to Coolidge, parked, hopped on the T, and headed to Newbury Street. Once there, I saw a sign on the door of Newbies saying the signing would begin at 5, not 5:30, and basically to get in the line I had seen past that point.
So we got in line, and we were luckily at the point a little before the line started turning the corner. That's always a good place to be. :P So we just stood there and chilled and talked and hated, and then the line started movin' up. Once it started movin', I kinda' felt like we were in there in no-time, but then it kinda' felt like it took a while once we got in the store. At least there was stuff to look at tho'. Oh, and then I was finally to the front of the line, and the chick was like, "Whaddyou' want signed?" and I handed her my TBS t-shirt. Yes, we went to a Taking Back Sunday signing. :D So I got to meet the guys, and they signed my shirt, and 3 of 'em even signed a sheep like I wanted. Oh, and I got to talk to my favorite member, Fred, the most. :D Good times. :) I got a picture of Eddie signing my tee too.
Ummm...so after that, we actually had time to grab some food before heading to the concert, so we went to Trident cuz come on...if I'm on Newbury Street, and Trident's open, I'm gonna go. :P So um...I had a Mango Tango smoothie or something like that, and a turkey club I think w/just turkey, lettuce, and tomato. Ooo, and they had sweet potato fries! Yum! :P
After that, we stopped at Starbucks to get some Coke, but they didn't have any, so we went to that ice-cream place near there, and I got a root beer. Then we got on the T again and headed to Kenmore. We followed the Fenway crowd from there, and OMG, it was so hard not to buy Sox tickets. There were about a million scalpers I had to pass, and then I saw Tek on a pair of tickets, but I had to just keep walking.
We made it past the crowd, I took some pics of Fenway, we went into the Souvenier shop, I took a pic of that sign, and then we went to the Avalon box office so I could pick up the tickets. There wasn't even a line to get in really when we got there, which was nice. We went to the box office so I could pick up the tickets (they had never come in the mail, so I had to call ticketmaster to get them to do something, and they said they'd have 'em there, so ya), and then headed in. The pit was already, like, 1/2-full, so we ended-up goin' over to the right if you're facing the stage, but next to "the wall". Yes, folks, there is a "wall" next to the right side of the pit. Those really short people you see? No, they are not short, they are SITTING DOWN ON "THE WALL". No, you really can't go this way to get back in the pit. You can TRYY climbing up on "the wall" and "jumping" into the pit, but the flasher (of light) bouncer will flash (his light on) you until you get down. It's better if you just go to the back of the pit, and work your way to the front. It's not that hard, I've done it a billion times.
Blah! So anywayz, Emanuel was on when we first got in. It must've been their first song, cuz it was like 6:36 and the concert was supposed to start at 6:30. I got some pics of them singing "Make Tonight" cuz Ian had already introduced me to that song, and I had liked it.
After them, The Honorary Title (I think, lol) went on. They were okay. They didn't suck, but the beginnings of more than half their songs sounded like other songs. Like one sounded like some oldies song my mom likes, and another sounded like a Blink song (tho' I can't remember which now). Oh! It was "What's My Age Again?".
After them, TBS finally came on. And they played my favorite song first! :D That was fun. I got some good pics, I wasn't being pushed around like crazy cuz I wasn't in the pit, and Mike was behind me. :)
After the concert, we headed out and I think the game had just gotten out too cuz a lotta' Sox fans were flowing outta' Fenway too. I figured we had won just from that, cuz I heard a few people singin' "Sweet Caroline", hehehe...and we don't sing that after losing. :P We stopped and listened to a cool street performer. Not only did he have the bucket-drums, but he also had, like, pot-cover cymbals, hahaha. I got a pic of him too. :P
Then we got on the T back to Coolidge and headed back here. After chilling here for a bit and changing my shirt, we went to Bickford's cuz I didn't wanna go to Friday's, and the only other thing I could think of eating was pizza, so I figured, why not Bickford's instead since I can't have pizza? So we got coffee and I had the strawberry pancakes and Mike had the potato pancakes...and I ate a lotta' his cuz they were sooooooo gooooood. :P I think next time I go there I'm gonna get those w/strawberries, cuz I think that would be the perfect combination. :P After that, I had an Oreo frappe that we kinda' shared. :P

On Saturday, we got up and watched The Phantom Gourmet and then started to get ready. We thought we were gonna go to the MFA, but the stupid place closes @ 4:30 on Saturdays. WTF? So ya...we ended-up not goin' there OR the expensive Chinese place we have a gift certificate to, but we DID go into Coolidge again. :P It took us forEVERRRRRRR to get a parking spot, but once we did, we headed to J.P. Licks for ice-cream. They had chocolate-dipped coconut cones...*mmm*. :P I had Oreo cream or w/e, and Mike had peanut butter chip...but his was in a dish. :P Then we walked around 'til we were hungry enough to go to the crepes place. Before we went there tho', we went to this cute bookstore. I liked it, but my allergies were makin' me miserable, so we had to get outta' there, lol. The crepes place helped too. The brie and apples crepe was deLIcious and the air helped in there. :) Oh, and the Coke helped too, haha.
Then we headed back towards Framingham, stopping at Blockbuster to rent Spider-Man before headin' back here.

Sunday, we got up and watched The Phantom again, and then Mike left once Kirsten Dunst knew she was pregnant in Fifteen and Pregnant, lmao. :P His car ended-up gettin' messed-up by the time he got to that construction near the Speen St. exit, so he had to pull-over and wait for AAA.
I watched the game and passed out in my room cuz it gets so friggin' hot in here cuz of the sun, and then I finally decided to go downstairs to study cuz it would've been hopeless to keep trying up here. Then I was talkin' to the wife and she asked if she could come over to study. So she came over and we studied and hung-out 'til about 10. Then she left and I hung-around for a bit and made myself dinner before going back to studying. I finished around 12:30 and then just hung-out 'til I was too tired to stay up any longer, lol.

Today (Monday) I have my last class. Hopefully not only my last class, but my last non-summer class EVER at FSC. :P

Tha's all. I will write LATERR.

Summer vacation is right around the corner now...

So Tuesday ummm...I worked on my Presentacion Oral 'larga' some more, and "luckily" the game was rained-out cuz it was hard enough Monday night trying to do research off a DVD, pausing when the game came back, watching more during the commercials, rinse&repeat.

I ended-up finishing at 4am on Wednesday morning, and e-mailed it to my professor right then so she could check it over. Wednesday I kinda' relaxed, slept about 8hrs. instead of the 6 I had been getting from working 'til late on my presentation and waking up "early" to work on it more. That was nice. Then I woke up, hung-around, showered, FInally got an e-mail back from my professor (I had e-mailed her Monday night too to let her know I didn't have my presentation to 5 minutes yet, but that I'd e-mail it to her the second I did, and had gotten no response. It turns out her modem had gotten fried or w/e so she didn't have internet access 'til 4 on Wednesday.), got ready, practiced my presentation a couple more times, and then headed out.
We had to do a professor evaluation before the presentations began, and during that time this chick that sits behind me now (I can never remember her name) was like, "I wanna go first." And then David was like, "Okay, then I call second." So I was thinking "f*ck, I dunno if I'm gonna wanna go after David", but the professor had been outta' the room so she hadn't heard any of that, and when she got back in the room, Kevin had said he wanted to go second. So because of the order of where people were sitting, she had Bruna go first. Then Kevin went, and then I felt comfortable enough (keyword: enough) to go. I set-up the DVD, made my presentation, and it actually wasn't so bad. I think I had practiced so many times (like, at least 10), that I felt like I was back in the kitchen practicing w/my mom. The only difference was that I looked at more people when I looked up. Once I was done, I played the DVD, and OMG, that's the part that felt like it took forEVer! LOL.
So after I was done, I felt like this great weight had been lifted off my shoulders. So nice. It was nice to just be able to relax and sit and listen to the other 4 presentations. Oh, and after mine my professor said how hard it must be to dance like that, and I was like, "Siiii!", and she asked if I knew how to dance like that, and I was like, "Noooo", lol. And then Bruna asked me if I was goin' to the concert, and I was like, "Yea, I'm goin' w/my boyfriend!" and she was like, "Me and my whole family are going! 8 people!" Haha, that's crazy, but it'd be cool if I saw her there. I can't wait. ::Shuts up cuz she shouldn't be wishing summer away.:: Oh, and then David went, and when he got up there, he put his papers down on the desk and was like, "Well, I don't have a DVD or anything showing me shaking my hips or anything but...", and everyone was like, "Noo, TRY!" LOL.
So after class, Mike was supposed to pick me up, but yea...I don't wanna get into that. It doesn't matter now anywayz.
He ended-up meeting me here, we all looked over my presentation grade...oh ya, I forgot to mention that, haha. My professor graded everyone's presentation right after he or she went, so we got our grades back towards the end of class. I got a 94! :D I got my last composicion back too, and I got a 96 on that. Hehe, another 96. :P So ya, we looked over my presentation and composicion grades, I changed my away messages, we talked for a bit, and then we headed-out to The Winchestah' to celebrate. :P
I had my usual, plus a mango berry margarita. It was nice watchin' the game there even tho' we lost. There was a good crowd, like people goin', "Aww", "Wooo", "Boooo". Hehe, I like that. It was a nice time other than that too...good celebrating. :)

Today (Thursday), the alarm supposedly went off, and I guess Mike turned it off, I pulled him towards me, and rolled over, lol. I totally don't remember any of that, but ah well. Then all-of-a-sudden he was like, "Lizzie it's 10!!" and I was wide-awake. He took a quick 2 min. shower, then left me to watch ER, lol.
Today I've just been hanging around...relaxing cuz I kinda' can. The game's on now. I'm gonna go finish my resume so I can have it for the wife tomorrow, and watch the rest of the game. Later.

More good times...

Sooooooo...Thursday sucked again pretty-much right after I made my last post. I ended-up drivin' down the Cape cuz I needed to get away and I kinda' knew once I got over the bridge, I'd instantly feel better. :P And I did! I didn't even stop at the cottage first...I went straight down to the beach, like always. OMG, it was so beautiful. The sun was just starting to set when I got there and it was GORgeous. I don't think I ever really realized how flat and vast the ocean is...probably because when I see it it's usually full of people cuz it's summer, lol. It was so beautiful tho'. I could see how fast it was moving, and yet it was still so flat. The sky was the color of my prom dress (riviera blue), and the ocean was the color of my dusty jeans, and the whole thing was GORgeous. :)
Anywayz, I got home from the Cape on Friday at 12:45am, and the rest of the time has been pretty good. :)

On Friday around 3:30 I left for Mike's so we could go to BSC so I could drop off my enrollment fee. After that, we went to this luncheonette kinda' place nearby for lunch. Then we were headed to the place where he got Zombies when we heard someone yellin' his name. It was Dave, so I got to meet him and see his long-@$$ truck w/the crazy horn, lol. Then we went to the Zombie game place before heading back to my car and his place. We hung-around there for a while, and then went to Shaw's to buy stuff for dinner, and Blockbuster to pick up 2k6 for his XBOX 360. OMG, that game sucks. The graphics for my '05 MLB PS2 game were better, and we couldn't even figure out how to bat in 2k6 after reading the directions and trying a billion times. All we could do was BUNT! Like, wtf? LOL.
Anywayz, Mike made dinner, we ate and watched the game, and then we headed back to Blockbuster to return that piece-o-crap game. We ended-up switchin' it for Silent Hill 4: The Room, but that one wasn't 360 compatible. So we ended-up comin' back here.

We got back here just into Saturday, and played the game. Matt had talked about how scary it was, and how if you played it alone in the dark, you'd start checking behind you for people...gettin' paranoid and stuff. Yea, so I have no idea what he was talkin' about cuz the game just pissed me off. I finally got to kill things, and then there were no more things to kill, and we didn't know what to do from there. Dumb, dumb, dumb!
We woke up at 10:58am to watch The Phantom Gourmet and then decided to go into Cambridge to try a couple of the places (the episode was on Cambridge restaurants and bakeries, etc.). Of course, when I was ready I checked the purple line schedule, and there wasn't a train for 2hrs. That always happens to us! The trains'll be like, an hr. or even 1/2 an hr. apart, and then we're ready to go and there's not one for 2hrs., lol. So I said we could always just drive to Coolidge and take the green line in and switch from there, and he was like, "Cool." So we did that, switched from the green to the red, and got off at Harvard Sq. cuz it was the closest stop to the 2 places we wanted to go to. We headed to the first place, Mr. & Mrs. Bartley's Burgers right away, and while I was looking for a street sign, Mike was looking at the store signs and found it, hehe. We had to wait outside, but we were able to look through the menu and order, so that was cool. The tables were really close together, and I thought that'd bother me, but it really didn't. It was actually kind of a nice atmosphere...esp. w/the posters and bumper stickers and photos and signs and stuff on the walls. They'll substitute any reg. burger for a turkey or veggie burger too, so I got the Professor Skip Gates but as a turkey burger, and OMG, it was so good! It had teryaki sauce and a grilled pineapple, and OMG, it was so good! LOL. Oh, and it came w/yummy onion rings! :)
After that we walked around for a bit, stopping at The Garage for Newbies. Mike got me a Tek33 bracelet and Red Sox UNO, and I bought a pair of green pengy socks for myself. After that, we went to that other place in there I like...can't remember what it's called, but they have the Anarchy boots I want, AND I found a black grey Catholic school girls-style skirt I want...but it was $45, so it'll have to wait 'til next month. :P
Ummm...then we went searchin' for Petsi Pies. OMG, donde esta Petsi Pies??? We couldn't find it for the life of us. We asked for directions a few times, and walked forever and ever, but still...no luck. It was fun tho', cuz I got goofy, and Mike gave me piggy-back rides off and on, haha.
We finally decided to give up and stopped and tried to figure out what to do next. That was when Mike looked up from where we were and was like, "Hey! I asked you out here the first time!" (Yes, the FIRST time...he had to ask me twice cuz I thought he was joking the first time cuz he was down on one knee, haha.) So then we went to Peet's Coffee & Tea for hot chocolate...and Mike spilled hot chocolate on himself. Oh, and the Newbies bag ripped and I think that's how I lost my socks...unless Mike has 'em cuz I don't know where they frickin' are. :(
Ummm...so then we headed back. Oh, and on the way back when we were on the Green Line, I looked over to the left as more people got on and saw this blonde chick in this really hot outfit (tight black skirt and fitted black belly shirt) and automatically nudged Mike and was like, "Hey...look." Mike saw and was like, "Hellooooo, Nurse" so these two guys that were just to the left of me looked over too. That's when the guys surrounding her, including one closest to her who seemed like her b/f, all whipped their heads my way. I turned bright red I guess, cuz I didn't mean for them to KNOW. So those two guys sitting just to the left of me looked back at Mike and he was like, "Good g/f, huh?" or somethin' like that and tellin' 'em how I point out hot chicks for him to see and how I'm a keeper, lol. Interesting times on the T, lol.
When we got back to Coolidge, we went to the crepes place (or as Mike likes to say, the creeps or craps place). They had just run outta' crepe batter tho', so we just got smoothies. Then, we headed home.

Sunday, we woke up and watched another episode of The Phantom, cleaned-up the kitchen, and then Mike left. I watched the Sox and hung-around a bit after that, then got ready and the wife came over so we could work on hmwk. I got a lotta' my presentation written and then we went to dinner at The Winchester. After that, she left, and I worked on my presentation some more, worked out, slept a bit, talked to Mike, and then stayed up 'til 6am finishing my presentation.

Today (technically yesterday, Monday) I woke up, ate, got ready, and called BSC. They got my enrollment fee, and they added the course this chick forgot to enter into the computer to my tranfer credit evaluation. Oh, and I signed-up for orientation last night (Sunday night).
After that, I typed-up my presentation and practiced it before the game. It only came to a little over 3 minutes tho', so I've added a few lines and a couple details since then. Hopefully I've made it a couple minutes longer, cuz I dunno how much more I can add, and I wanna e-mail it to my professor to check it over.
Anywayz, I watched the game tonight too. Awesome game. This morning (Monday morning) I woke-up to the news that we got Mirabelli back. Thank A.! G*d, I've missed Mirabelli! And Papi hit a 3-run HR to basically win it for us, and Papelbon caught it cuz he was warmin' up...so cute! Oh, and it was against the YAAANKYAAAANKees, hahaha. G*d, I love baseball season. :P
Oh, and today (Monday) I made the hotel reservation for a month from yesterday (Monday) for me and Mike. :) We're gonna have a king-sized bed, a heavenly bed, and a heavenly bath/shower (dunno what THAT looks like). :) And yesterday I made the res. at the restaurant. :) So everything is pretty-much set. :)

   I guess that's it. I'll write later. :)

"Let me see you / move like you come from Colombia"

O...M...G. I was gonna start this post out w/"So Mike just left", but O...M...G...I just got SHAKIRA TICKETSSSS!!!!! :D :D :D OMG, I AM SO F*CKING EXCITED!!!!! :D :D :D It's not until September tho'...so now I'm, like, wishing the summer away. Before a little while ago, I was wishing for summer, and now I'm wishing it were September already, lolol...which is really bad cuz the day after I'll be starting classes (IF I get a good letter sometime before I DIE). The only reason I was wishing for summer, like most people, is that I NEED classes to be over, and I need weather so hot I can't lie on the beach for more than 2 minutes before I have to run into the water...and now I'm wishing for something that will lead practically right into classes and closing up the cottage. :( But, w/e, Shakira ticketttttttts! :D :D :D My mom's gonna kill me tho'...I only have $55ish left on my account, so I had to charge the tix to hers (you don't wanna know how much I paid...but w/e, I've wanted to see her for almost 4yrs. now, and I'm Colombian...I HAD to get them). I have these 2 pairs of Vicki's panties I've been meaning to return tho', so if I return those and have her wipe out all the money in my account and take all the cash I have on me, I'll only owe her $88.44. And then Mike says he'll pay me back next month (so I guess we gotta stay together 'til September now :P), so then I won't owe her anything, and I'll get back $11.76 of the money I gave her of my own for the other ticket, so then I can buy that new car I've always wanted! LOLOL. Okay, no, so I won't be able to do that, but I'm gonna finish that resume today and show it to the wife so she can look it over and get everything going on getting paid more than I've ever earned/hr.

Okay, enough about Shakira. :P So Mike left over an hr. ago now. He came over last night after my class.
I got the exam back last night that I took last Wednesday, and OMG, I got a 96!!! Kick@$$! :D I was so shocked when I got it back that I just stared at it for a while before flipping through it and realizing I had gotten only 4 things wrong in the section I thought I'd mess-up a little on. I mean...I had studied for 10hrs., so I deserved that grade, but I went in there all pissed off cuz of my mom and Mike (Chris' fault, *grr*), so I didn't know how much that would affect my grade. Well...I guess it didn't at all! :P I'm so proud of that grade too. Elementary Spanish I was so easy, and I got grades in the 90s pretty easily (I don't think I even got anything LESS than a 90), but even trying my best, I didn't know I could do that well in this class. :) So ya, that's awesome, I rock. :P Ummm...so yea, after class Mike was gonna pick me up which woulda' been really cool, but of COURSE she let us out early for the first time ever (except that time she let us go after the final for Elementary Spanish I, but I mean...what professor doesn't?)!
So I walked down to the end of State Street, and got picked up by mi madre. Then I went home and turned the dryer back on so my clothes would un-wrinkle so I could put them away, put the game on, and waited for Mike to get here. He got here, I got my laundry out, brought it and Sammykins up (he's STILL still here), and put it away. Then we just listened to the game and played w/Sammy 'til we went out to Tha' Winchestah'.
We got that same stupid waiter the wife and I had last time. G*d, this kid is so f*cking unsure of him. I kept saying he was the male version of what I would be as a waitress, but by the time we left, we agreed he was worse than that...much worse. Anywayz, Mike made me get the ribs. I fought it for a little cuz I only go off my diet (diet cuz I have high cholesterol, I know I'm not fat, people) once a month and I hadn't thought, "Oh yea, you're probably not gonna go out to a nice restaurant before May 21st (the beginning of the next month's-worth of time in which I can go off my diet once), so you may as well have some ribs now since you haven't since January." Once I did realize that tho', he didn't have to push it.
After that, we came back here and watched Shakira: Live & Off the Record cuz he had mentioned how he still wants to take me to the belly-dancing place in Boston, and I wanted to show him this one song in which she really shows off her moves. :P Of course we ended-up watchin' the whole thing tho'...well, all the songs I like that weren't too slow, plus the documentary. I hadn't watched it in about a yr. and a half, so that was nice. :) When they showed Colombia, I wanted to cry tho'. :( I wanna go back! And then she talked about the problems there, and they showed little Colombian kids, and I REALLY wanted to cry. :( :( I had forgotten about that part, and I kinda' wish I had FF'd it, but knowing all that stuff is part of being Colombian, I guess.
After that, we went to bed, and then Mike left this mornin' after we hung-out for a little and ate breakfast.

I think I'm gonna go shower and then hopefully meet the wife at the library for a couple of hrs. if she's there. Later, all. [/12:44pm]

Yay for no more composiciones!

So I just finished my last composicion about 50min. ago. Thank A.!
I worked on it pretty much all day yesterday, but I wasn't finished before I got sleepy (at 5am), so I had planned on takin' about an hr. nap and then wakin' up to finish it. It took me 'til 5:45ish to feel that I could fall asleep tho', so I reset my cell alarm at that time for a little later, and then fell asleep. Now, I remember the alarm going off, turning it off, staring at the window and thinking it was very sunny out and not understanding why (even tho' it was 7am, so it would make sense that it was sunny out this time of year at that time), and laying back down to fall back to sleep. Then, all-of-a-sudden I felt this buzzing against my cheek and was staring at my cell. I automatically hit the wrong button like I always do when my cell wakes me up, and it listed all these options for loudspeaker and sh^t. I didn't know what to do, and then the vibrating stopped. It had been Mike calling, so I called him back. I had set my reg. alarm for 9:59am anywayz, but it was nice being woken up by a call from Mike instead...even tho' I thought that would just make me cranky last night. :P So after that, I got up and started workin' on finishin' up my composicion. And, yea, I finished.
I'm so freakin' happy. I finished the last composicion I'll probably ever have to do for the rest of my life, I finished w/an hr. to SPARE, Sammykins is STILL here, and Mike's comin' tonight. :D Life is good.

Tiara Girls

Okay, I'm watching that new MTV show Tiara Girls, and O...M...G. This girl's not even pretty! Like, I'm prettier than she is...not that I'm ugly, and you know I'm not full of myself...so yea. And she has this HORRIBLE voice! She sounds like a freakin' valley girl! "Like, omg, like" and "But like, I don't even need to worry about that!"<--super stuck-up sounding. *Grahh!* Oh, and I know you might be thinking, "But that doesn't matter", but oh, it does. Isn't there a speaking part to this pageant crap?? Like, answering questions and crap? Well she's gonna sound like a freakin' IDIOT! (The frickin' idiot that she IS.) Oh, and the parents? They're even worse! This "poor girl" was just sitting at dinner w/her arms on the table and they get on her about her arm flab. Like, yea, it was gross, but that's no reason to say things to your daughter like, "You weren't flabby like that last year", "You had more muscle than that!", "You've grown a lot since last year...", "You're gonna need to go to the gym Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!" Parents...do you WANT your stupid ugly daughter w/the bad voice to have an EATING DISORDER too?? JEsus!

   Okay, I'm done.

Yay for good weekends! :)

This weekend was awesome. There wasn't really anything special about it, but Thursday sucked so much that the weekend was just really, really good. :)

On Thursday, I found out Ruby was sick (fuel pump), so I ended-up not feeling like going out (it WAS Thirsty Thursday, after all). :( I also figured I wouldn't see Mike cuz I had planned on drivin' there and he had been complaining about gas money...sooo, yea.

But then Friday, Mike came to pick me up, and we headed out to The 99 near Bridgewater State after hangin' here for a bit. There, we met up w/Matt and Kris Lee, but didn't stay cuz the wait was too long, and the host dude was an @$$ anywayz.
We ended-up goin' to D'Angelo's and just havin' subs and chips and stuff, but that was cool. Then, we went to the cinema in Bridgewater to see Silent Hill. It was boring for a while...I kept waiting to see if something was gonna make me jump...anticipating...but nothing came close to getting that kinda' reaction outta' me. Actually...I was so tired until the end that I thought, "Hm...maybe I'll just rest my head on Mike's shoulder and take a little nap", lol. :P It's a good thing I didn't tho', cuz the ending turned the movie from boring to "pretty good", lol. The story was really good, and it was funny, and the visuals weren't so bad either, so that was fun. :) Kris Lee got Swedish Fish too. I had forgotten how good those were. :P
After that, we were all gonna hang-out some more, but Matt and Kris Lee ended-up just going back to her house, and Mike and I went back to his.

Saturday, Mike and I got up and watched The Phantom Gourmet. It was on stupid fast-food restaurants tho'...*BLEH!* They mentioned some cool healthy (for fast-food) place on the Mass Pike in Framingham tho'...so I'll have to check that out next time I decide to actually TAKE the Pike to the Cape. :P
After that, I went w/him to pick his check up, deposit it, and get me food! :P Then, we went back to his house and ate breakfast and watched the game. After that, we headed to my house. Actually, before we got here, we went to the mall cuz I needed Mike to run in and buy me something...and he bought a book, lol.
Then, we came here, I put in laundry, and we played w/my Sammykins while waiting to put the laundry in the dryer. :) I love that gecko...I just wish it were actually mine...and not leaving. :(
Yea, so after that, I put the laundry in the dryer and got ready while Mike read. Then, we went to Firefly's cuz Mike had never been before. OMG, I had the BEST FISH there. It was sweet and honey salmon or something like that, and it was SO GOOD. :P :P We had the red velvet cake for dessert too, and that's always good. :P Oh, and I had this alcoholic beverage w/Remy Red that was really good too. :P Good times. :)

Sunday, I got up to watch The Phantom again, but he wasn't on, so Mike and I just hung-out 'til he left at 1. Then I watched the baseball game (we won) and napped, cuz I was wicked tired when Mike left. Then I did homework which my professor didn't even end-up checking tonight. This older woman reminded him after too many people had finished their exams and left, and I think he told her he'd deal w/it next week. :\
Ummm...yea...so I did homework and worked-out and did more homework and then went to bed.

Today (Monday even tho' it's now Tuesday), I woke-up, ate breakfast, and studied for tonight's exam 'til I had to get ready and go take it. It was pretty easy. 2 of the questions I remembered right out of the book practically, lol, and then most of the other stuff was pretty easy. :) There were only a couple questions I was unsure of, and I mostly kicked-@$$ on the short-answer part. :P It only took me an hr. too! :P
After that, I met up w/everyone at The Imp. Chi. and had some sushi. Our waitress took forEVER tho' cuz she didn't speak English very well, so I was stuck sitting there for a while w/all this food I couldn't eat around me. That wasn't so good, and even once I got the sushi, she forgot the friggin' soy sauce dish. Like, wtf? You bring out the dish when you bring out the chopsticks! Not that hard, lady. Ah well...the sushi was good once I could eat it...and I got a good fortune, so who can complain? :P

Tomorrow (Tuesday even tho' it's Tuesday now), I gotta start my stupid composicion for Elementary Spanish II. There's a Sox game on tomorrow night tho', so the day shouldn't suck completely. :P

Okay, I guess that's it. I dedicate this entry to Mike for making my weekend so great after a crappy Thursday. :) I needed it. :)
