Local Journalism Fund

The Leader is the rare, locally owned newspaper that occupies the same building it’s been in for more than a century. That is visual proof of our longstanding commitment to Port Townsend and Jefferson County at a time when having an independent watchdog has never been more important.

We have formed the Local Journalism Fund as a way to expand our journalism to better serve the community. All donations are restricted to use by the newsroom at the direction of the editor and publisher. Funds may be used for wages, benefits, training and equipment. We appreciate your contribution.
