I think prompt 8 was a little too hard. Sorry! If you do write something for it, feel free to post it and tag it as a late post. Here's prompt 9.
Prompt # 9
Appetency/Appentency
2nd Archaic; I've found both spellings for some reason)
Definitions: An intense desire, a strong craving, instinctive inclination or natural tendency, material or chemical attraction or affinity.
Prompt # 8:
Axiom
Definitions: a generally accepted proposition or principle that's sanctioned by experience, a universally accepted principle or law that is not necessarily a truth, a self-evident statement, a principle that is accepted as true without proof, the foundation of a chain of reasoning, something that is accepted to be true without proof because it seems so obvious.
Sorry about dropping the ball for this community. Finals and applying to colleges and stuff kind of swamped my life for a while. But now I'm back!
Prompt #7
Redintegrate
Definitions: To make whole or complete again, to restore to a perfect state, to renew. In psychology, redintegration is the restoration of a memory from a part of it. For example, a scent that triggers a memory from childhood, or when you hear only part of a word but are able to understand the entire word.
Prompt #6:
Hamartia
Definitions: Greek, roughly translates to "missing, error, or offense." It is interpreted in many ways. It can be defined as a fatal flaw [in a character], missing the mark, a mistake, failure, fault, or error, deliberate or accidental wrongdoing, a tragic error, a moral mistake. It is used in Greek tragedy to draw an emotional reaction from the audience (The hero tries to achieve a certain objective, but because of a mistake or fatal flaw, achieves instead the exact opposite of that objective, with disastrous consequences).
