1. All teens and adults in attendance are required to attend all sessions unless you have been excused per management staff.
2. There is a nurse on staff; if you feel ill, please report to someone on staff, and you will be directed where to find the nurse.
3. Shirts and shoes are required in the dining hall and during all indoor sessions. Please, no swimwear during regular activities.
4. No candles or other materials may be burned.
5. The only electronic devices allowed are your cell phone and personal CD player, and these may only be used during your free time. Please do not have a cell phone on during any scheduled sessions and leave the music in your dorm!
6. Lights out and quiet time mean just that. Please be considerate of your tired roommates.
7. If you drive to camp, you must turn in your keys to your advisor for the duration of camp. If you do not have an advisor, then they should be turned in to one of the adults on management staff. No one will be permitted to leave unless specific permission is obtained from management staff.
8. Please do not have non-registered guests visit you at camp. We are registered with the camp and paying for a specific number of guests.
9. Members of the opposite sex are not permitted in the guests rooms/dorms, except parents, guardians, advisors and adult staff. If one of these excepted persons must enter a room, we expect them to announce themselves prior to entering.
10. All campers are expected to remain in camp for the entire time. If there is an emergency, management staff must speak with a parent or guardian before allowing the camper to leave.
11. We will leave camp the way we found it; clean up after yourself!
12. Any damage, accidental or otherwise, is the responsibility of the person causing it; you/parents will be expected to pay the cost.
13. This is a drug free camp. Any use/possession of illegal substances, alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs is strictly prohibited. If you are found in possession of any of these articles, parents will be called and you will be expected to leave. No refunds will be given.
14. Weapons, fireworks and other explosives are strictly prohibited.
15. Do not touch any fire alarms or any other equipment you find on campgrounds except for their stated emergency purpose.
16. Dorm parents (advisors) are expected to contact Project ROOTS staff at the staff lodge during the night should there be a problem of any sort with a camper in their lodge, or any other problem; there are phones in each lodge that will reach the other lodges.
17. Advisors are asked to keep track of their own teen participants during the day, and to attend Team Times with them. If any of your teens have a problem, please bring it to the attention of a member of the management staff.
18. Advisors are asked to help supervise outdoor recreational times and any large group activities, such as the dance. There are workshops that will appeal to you also, so feel free to choose the ones you have interest in.
19. Every night after the last scheduled activity, there will be a dorm meeting in each lodge, lead by the advisors in residence, the dorm parents. They will do a headcount (a list of residents will be supplied) and direct the campers to clean up the general use areas of the lodge, i.e. the meeting room, fireplace gathering areas, etc. This should take no more than a few minutes if everyone cooperates, and gets the room ready for the next days use. No one likes to hold their meetings and workshops in the middle of a mess, and each of these rooms will be in use the next day.
20. Please, advisors, dont leave the camp unless its an emergency, and DO let the camp staff know if this becomes necessary. We have to know where all participants are at all times. Besides, you just might miss a Kodak moment!
