WordPress Origin Story

A few years ago (2012), I wanted to put to good use a few IT qualifications I gained back then, so I joined a local charity to help them out with all things computer related.

After a few weeks, the manager told me they needed a new website and someone suggested using WordPress. Up until then, I had never heard of WordPress but I offered to look into it. Once home, I looked it up on the internet and my life was never the same again. It was love at first “site” 😉
