Comments: Everyone should listen to this single, or at least RAINBOWS, even if you don't like alice nine. Trust me when I say you will like this song. This single, wow. It blew me away. I am so impressed. This has got to be one of their best singles since... I can't remember when. Since a while. Rainbows is amazing. Three guitar solos. Not one, not two, but three. The guitar playing is outstanding, I really have to give Tora and Hiroto props there. Saga gets props for his bass playing as well. Shou's voice is positively orgasmic at points, and you'll know which points I mean.

Kouchou ran and Strawberry Fuzz I feel like are once again typical alice nine. songs but no less enjoyable. Strawberry Fuzz is more upbeat while Kouchou ran is on the softer, gentler side and just makes you smile.

Overall an excellent single I highly recommend.

Comments: ...Nao has a tail and shiny silver pants. Shou has Kayne West sunglasses and tight leopard print pants. Saga looks like a whore. (I'M SORRY BUT HE DOES. ;_;) Hiroto is...grown up. And Tora is just awesome. Do you want to watch the PV yet because I sure would. XD Oh and treadmills! Think OK Go but Jrock style.

Shou's voice at 3:02 & 3:53 = ORGASM. Tell me it isn't the best you've ever heard Shou's voice. Oh god it's just...wow. Kill me now why don't you. I am also very fond of 4:18 where Hiroto is ripping his shirt off and 4:32 where Saga is on his knees. ^_^ Thank you alice nine.

Comments: ALiBi are just...cuteness overload. x3 ♥ Their third single is called 「★★★」 because they're just that special. I think this single is actually pretty good. Better than the previous two, in my opinion. Both songs sound similar to each other but they're worth a listen.

ALiBi have three more singles coming out this year, one in October, one in November, and one in December. But if what their OHP is telling me is true, the next 3 singles won't follow the pattern of just adding more ★'s, sadly. D:
I never knew this but ALiBi also have a small community here on LJ, alibi_alibi. Check it out if you're interested. I'll definitely be watching this band, they're too fun not to. XD

Comments: Again, if you're bored and want to try something new I'd recommend this. I don't think they're anything that amazing but they aren't bad either. They're very upbeat and happy so if that's what you're looking for, you found it! WAKU☆DOKI summer is very good. Listen to it.

Comments: VAMPS is going to go places, for sure. This is an amazing first single and if this is only their first, I cannot wait to see what else they're going to do. :) Then again, what did we expect from Hyde and K.A.Z.? Anything less than great? ;)

Love Addict is really catchy. It has you hooked after the first 5 seconds, those guitars in the beginning - awesome. Hyde's raspy voice, true rock start style. And his English! His English is amazing! This song is completely in English! The lyrics are somewhere at vampsband, which I recommend joining if you have any interest in VAMPS. A rather useful community.

Time Goes By, on the other hand, is beautiful. "Do you remember that day, as time goes by, I am still alive now..." A nice mix of English and Japanese. The way Hyde says "that" as "dat" is so cute. x3 This is a nice contrast to Love Addict. It's soft yet has a rock sound to it at the same time.

As much as I love L'Arc~en~Ciel I must say, there's something about Hyde's solo works that I adore so much more. They're more rock orientated and they just speak so much more to me than Laruku. Hyde is a very talented person. I hope he never stops creating music. :)

Comments: After the first few guitar notes I knew this song was great. Hyde's raspy vocals only add to the rock sound it has going. It pissed me of they were wearing their sunglasses but then towards the middle when they take them off, oh yeah, definitely worth it. ;)...I think we could all do without the bald vampire guy though, right? XDD;

Comments: 88 is a nice song. :) It's a calmer song that typical LM.C songs, I think. It reminds me of -SORA涙色-. The PV makes me think of Miyavi's Kimi ni Negai Wo, except this is more...odd. XD Even if you've never listened to LM.C before though, I believe you can enjoy this single. It is also the 4th opening theme for Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! The B-side, WITH VAMPIRE is a good song as well. Sticking with anime here, it reminds of Vampire Knight. |D;

I feel like LM.C is tending towards pop rock more than just rock sometimes. The two often coincide, but I miss the rap rock LM.C songs, such as Rock the LM.C. Their interesting style is what got me into LM.C, I know. I wish they'd do some more rap rock, but I'm content with LM.C's recent releases, nothing to complain about.

Comments: She intrigues me quite a bit, this girl. This is her debut single, also used as the anime Vampire Knight ending theme song. I...don't know how I feel about her. I like her stuff. There's no doubt she has skill and she'll probably be big someday. :) She's produced by Mana of Moi dix Mois. I am of the opinion that Mana is creepy. He scares me. Anything related to him scares me. ._.; But he is very skilled as well and I respect him; you know this girl is something if Mana has taken an interest.

Kanon's song still doll is beautiful in a haunting way. It's quiet and pretty. The Orgel version reminds me exactly of a music box~ I feel as if I should be seeing a ballerina spinning around. It's Victorian-age-esque. I think I prefer Kuroi Torikago, it's a bit more upbeat~.

Comments: This is a nice first album for SuG, I'm very pleased with it. I mean, I think there's stuff they could improve on but I hope to see more from this band in the future. To me, SuG's sound is a mix of LM.C & An Cafe with a bit of alice nine. mixed in. So if you like any of those bands you'll probably like SuG. :)

Vi-Vi-Vi is adorable. Just watch the PV. You'll want to hug Takeru and never let go. x3 Lyrics + Translation can be found here!
I don't have any other songs that I particularly like just yet but all of them are good and worth a listen.

Comments: Once I found out RENTRER EN SOI was going to be at AnimeNEXT this year I immediately had to download their stuff. I've heard many good things about them and starting off with the Stigma single I was very impressed. I like this album so far, I think I need to listen to it a bit more before I have a real opinion on it though. My favorite songs right now would have to be binetsuka de shajitsu shita shinso wa atesaki fumei no tegami to naru (aka song with the long title). The guitars are great in the beginning and it's just a beautiful song. PROTOPLASM has a gothic feel to it. bunretsu LE+DD jinkaku I feel describes RENTRER EN SOI well. I've been told to look up the lyrics as the song is about a split personality, which I can feel listening to it. I've yet to do that but I definitely will. If you're even a bit interested in RENTRER EN SOI as I was, check 'em out! They have some pretty good stuff.
