The only other thing that hit me was that Sinclair said BO was not circumcised. When my son was born in a hospital that was done as a matter of routine without even consulting us. Would the same be for Hawaii? OTOH People born at home or in some other cultures are not circumcised.

if you're a california voter and you haven't heard about prop 98, you need to inform yourself with the quickness. it is a completely repugnant, horrifying initiative that will end rent control and send rents through the roof. at first i thought it could just be interpreted to end rent control, but if you look at the text it just flat-out says "Prohibits rent control and similar measures." for the record, "similar measures" = requiring new building projects to include affordable housing. this measure is terrible for anyone in california who isn't rich and doesn't own a home. the effects could permanently alter the personality of this area. because of the economics of the san francisco housing market, the only thing keeping rental costs down is rent control. vote against prop 98 on june 3rd. or this cute little mittencat will suffer.
