princessofgeeksSkipping through various favorite scenes of Season 1 Heated Rivalry in the last couple of days.
What happened after their big talk in Ilya's room in Tampa in Episode 5 is of course a favorite for fic writers.
Tonight I'm thinking about the missing scene from Episode 1 at their first All Star Game in Nashville! I know in the book they did blowjobs in the shower, at that point in the narrative, in an attempt to keep the noise down. But I'm wondering if anyone has missing scene fic recs for Nashville.
As an aside, also in that Episode, watching carefully the shot accuracy competition and how Arnaud played that scene -- as others have said, I agree that Hunter heard everything they said, including Ilya telling Shane his room number. His face registers extreme astonishment, then humor, then something more settled in those few seconds he talks to Shane and warns him that his room is right next door to Ilya's.
In short, in the TV show, Hunter knew about them from that moment.
I never get tired of this show omg.
The level of detail we all stoop to -- theres a youtube short that's labeled The Two French Kisses... omg figuring out which times and how exactly Ilya kissed Shane and the audience got to see it. OMG I'm such a goner for the details in this show. Jesus. Of course the sex scenes are delicious and hot but the kissing. OMG all the kissing! Heaven.
Okay, that's all, back to perhaps writing another scene of this fic that has possessed my every waking moment.

Date: 2026-07-08 05:16 pm (UTC)I remember it because I was surprised too and it was a whole discussion somewhere but then I think there's more than enough room for interpretation and how these scenes came across, which matters more to me anyway. Plus I don't think we how Jacob directed/cut them.
