This is future fic so I'll say more about it behind the cut. But it's a fic where Ilya holds forth on hockey strategy. I love fic like this that get into the actual hockey, something I know nothing about but which I find extremely interesting.

You're a WAG; now time to host away game watch parties

Without going into any details about the past, this fic presents Ilya as retired, married to Shane, and hosting a watch party in their apartment for the Ottawa WAGS (including Harris). It includes a precision take-down by Ilya of a young GF who says stupid things about Shane's play but doesn't understand hockey well enough to know what she is actually seeing. Ilya has a mic drop! I felt kind of sorry for the GF, actually.
