Fascinated by Christian Concepts

I've always been fascinated by the Christian concept of angels and their hierarchy to G*d. I am Jewish, and we have the Malach (messenger/angel)the Irinim (Watchers/High Angels), Cherubim (Mighty Ones), Sarim (Princes), Seraphim (Fiery Ones), Chayyot ([Holy] Creatures), and Ofanim (Wheels). For those the physical plain [called 'Arcs', by Christians?], they collected into the Adat El, a divine assembly (Ps. 82; Job 1) which consists of Zeva,(Host), B'nei ha-Elohim or B'nai Elim (Sons of G*d), and Kedoshim (Holy Ones).

The only named ones are Michael, Gabriel, and Satan.

I've always felt the ranks of Angels swelled with the inclusion of Roman religious concepts into early forms of Christianity. Any thoughts?

I went to Waldenbooks today, and volume 14 was on the shelf--so it's out early, I think (I don't know if it's out anywhere else). I thought it was really good. It might be worth while to check at your local bookstores.
And I guess that's it. ^^;

Well, I guess it was my laziness that kept me from finding this community. Thanks to surfing the links at domas-porada, I was able to stumble across this. I was slightly dissapointed to see that there were few people here, but hey, I shouldnt complain, I'm one of the few people I know personally who even know what Priest is. So anyways, hi, thanks to whoever created this community and hopefully when I get around to stealing issue 13 this week, it wont let me down as 12 did.

I went to Waldenbooks today. Priest volume 13 is out (here, anyway).
I wasn't really very impressed with it, to be honest. I think there were more spelling errors than usual, and, at times, it was tough to see who was talking (I thought, anyway). But yeah, it's out.

Gah hah... I went to Waldenbooks today even though the street date for #12 isn't until 07.06, to pick up Saiyuki and a Stephen King book. My sister and I wandered through the store and we saw a rolling cart with new product on it... and sitting there, waiting for us to buy, where two Priest volumes #12. Yay! So it's out, if you can find it. And it's... hmm, interesting! I enjoyed it. My sister thought it was weird. Heh, you'll see. ;)

volume two: translation from the latin

my parents finally got home from their two week vacation, so i was able to get the translation i told you about.
the latin:
"domine lesu christe, quod ego, indignus, sumere praesumo, non mihi proveniat in luducium et condemnationem; sed pro tua pietate prosit mihi!!!"
or, in english:
"lord jesus chris, because i, the unworthy, presume to ask, do not take me into judgment and condemnation; but of your pity, take my place."

i am amazed by the authenticity of everything in this manwha...
tomorrow, i finally get volumes 5, 6, and 7. it won't be long now until i'm all caught up.
