Silas Weir Mitchell and Reggie Lee - Grimm
Promising to combine elements of crime drama into a darkly humorous fantasy, the upcoming drama Grimm features not one but two of Prison Break's more--shall we say--quirky actors in starring roles.
Silas Weir Mitchell, well remembered by fans as Charles 'Haywire' Patoshik, one of the Fox River Eight, has a main role. In keeping with the theme of the show (that the stories from Grimm's Fairy Tales are true, and still living among us) his character, Eddie Munroe, is a (former?) Big Bad Wolf.
Joining Silas Weir Mitchell as a regular is none other than Mr. Kim himself, Reggie Lee, playing police officer Sgt. Wu.
While it might seem like the supernatural genre is already well played out on television, Grimm stands apart in that it is coming from producer David Greenwalt, who was a writer/producer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and co-created (with Joss Whedon) Angel.
Plus, it just looks AWESOME. Check it out!
Grimm is scheduled to debut October 21st.
