BEATing itSELF SENSEless aGAINST the WALL!

How does this sound:

Leave early afternoon of Sunday, June 12th and come back the afternoon of Wednesday the 15th (in time for the io show that night, and so hopefully we could see Jenna's dress rehearsal the night before).

(Rather than replying to each comment individually) So it's looking like possible dates include Thursday the 16th - Sunday June 19th (that way there's no conflict with io and we'd get to see Jenna's play) and perhaps the same time frame only a week earlier - 6/9 to 6/12 (with a roadtrop to Asheville stuck in there?). The problem with those are 1)I don't know exactly when Emily and Amy get home from school and 2)I know that working on weekends is preferred.

Right now I think I'd prefer the first option. Any huge problems with those dates? Any other suggestions for when we could go?

Hey guys-
I had a random idea the other day. This is totally out of the blue and kinda cheesy, but I think it would be really cool for however many of us wanted to, to get matching tattoos. Okay, let me clarify, because that sounds stupid. They would be really tiny and in an un-obvious place... and I have no idea what they would be of, but I don't know... it's just a thought. Like I've heard of people who just got a little dot or something, like a freckle on their hand. I would want something a little less dumb than a dot, but I don't know exactly what. Feedback? Feel free to tell me I'm a total idiot. (Or you can tell me I'm awesome and that you'll go in on this with me)!

Hey kiddos

Ame and I were talking tonight and we realized what a small window we're going to have to do our annual get-away trip (it's not exactly accurate to call it a beach trip now seeing as we'll hopefully be staying at Jenna's apartment for a few - 4? - days). I guess the latest time constraints will be exams for Amy and Emily, right? So we'll have from then til almost the end of June to possibly go, since Ame and I are leaving for England June 27th.

Right now are there any dates that absolutely don't work for you guys? This way we can start getting a feel for when we may venture up to the mountains.

Man. I am not feelin the love in this community...
Anyway, I just wanted to ask everyone about their New Years Eve plans. I know for a fact that I have to be with the boy around midnight, but I was wondering if any of you were free around dinnertime. I would love to go out to dinner somewhere on Franklin St. and just hang out and be crazy for a little bit while the night is still young. First off, wasn't our beach trip AWESOME?? Yeah, I agree.

And on that note... Ame and I need gas money from you guys. We figured out that each person will owe $17. You can give this to either me or Ame, and when we get all of it we'll split it appropriately (since we each spent slightly different amounts). If you could get that to us ASAP that would be great. Because I know I for one used money out of my own pocket, which is not abundant, let me tell you.

look at the time! it's 1:45 in the morning! yay insomnia.

okay guys, i found some more cruises for comparison. so i was thinking that i like the idea of the jubilee boat trip a lot, because it's kinda cheap. the problem is, key west is kinda boring and that's one of the stops it makes- the other is nassau in the bahamas (nice), but two of the days we end up being at sea. great tanning days, let me tell you. these are all carnival because everyone else just sucks.

so, here's a rundown of the four that i like.

1. jubilee-leaves out of jacksonville. base price is $379. departure days within time range to go are july 24th and august 7th. two days at sea. FIVE nights, so six days.

2. jubilee- the exact same as above, just leaves on august 2nd and base price is $349.

3. fantasy- leaves out of orlando. base price is $229. departure days within range are july 25th, august 1, and august 8th. the 8th might be a stretch. no days at sea- one day in freeport, two days in nassau. only FOUR nights, which is sucky but it's also the cheapest.

4. sensation- leaves out of tampa. base price is $349. departure days to go within time range are july 24th and august 7th. two days at sea plus the grand caymen, carmen beach, and cozumel (a great deal this one seems to be...). also, FIVE nights.

so um...that's all. oh wait! my dad said that if we do a jacksonville trip, it would be easiest for us to drive and save money by not buying plane tickets (like...$300-400 a person saved!) because the suburban is huge and jacksonville is the closest to us. i'm not sure about the ones out of orlando or tampa if he would drive us or not. we would need at least one other parent besides my dad, because it's most likely to be just four of us again (eliza has shown no interest yet, but kendall has..) and we'll need to have two rooms. probably a dad that my dad knows/likes, unless we don't want my dad coming and then someone else's family members can be our guardians.

aaaand, i'm done.

i think...we need to go on a cruise. how about august, to give us some planning time? i don't leave for cincinnati until the end of september (4 months of summer vacation, ahh!), so i'm definitely down. and we could have two rooms if all seven of us go (ame amy eliza emily kendall jaime jenna) and since by then, we'll all be 18, we can go alone, right? if not, we can always try to get some of our parents to tag along. so, yeah.

and the beach camping trip will be awesome. i'm so excited, i just can't hide it. and i'm the only one who ever posts in here. w00t!
