I may color the full body on the first sketch. Also the D in W. D. Gaster means Dad. And the W means Woman or something idk
Imagine Rudy dies in the dark world. And his portraits just become colored half way through. And nobody in the cast besides Ralsei and like Kris knows, since only they can see the active hud
Suddenly he’s so much more lively and powerful once he’s passed
Noelle seeing her dad suddenly kicking ass and going toe to toe with the Knight or Eram or whoever the fuck appears this chapter and thinking “wow faha the healing magic actually worked!” and Ralsei just gotta grip her by the shoulders
Extension of this idea:
>Eram appears, egging on Kris like they did in the mantle minigame, encouraging violent acts
>Noelle butts in, saying “Kris isn’t like that, you don’t know them!”
>Eram redirects its violent encouragement to Noelle, saying “I know you’re just as bad as Kris. You might even be worse!”
>Rudy takes a stance, “I don’t know who you think you are, but nobody talks to my daughter like that! You wanna mess with the Holidays? Then come at me, jackass!”
>Eram laughs and grabs Rudy, holds a sword to him. Says “Kris, Noelle, this old bag of bones is practically free EXP! So who wants it? Noelle, dear, you seem a little lacking in LV. You could use it!”
>Noelle says “Are you crazy!? I’m not killing my dad!” whispers to Kris, “(they’re holding dad so close, I’m not sure we can attack them without hurting him…)
>Eram says “Hm? No takers? Well, I guess I could always use some more EXP myself!” laughs while pulling the knife closer to Rudy
>Noelle screams “N-No!” and uses ice shock. Screen goes black, shortened Rudy cough noise to sound like a grunt. Cut back to Rudy kneeling down, facing away from the screen, coughing, then collapses. Noelle rushes over to him, “D-Dad! Oh God, I’m so sorry! I, I,” and begins spamming Heal Prayer. “Please be okay, please be okay…”
>Rudy dialogue sound, no talk sprite “Heh, you know, I…” show colored Rudy Sprite, slow unskippable dialogue, “I don’t think I’ve felt this good in a long time, actually.”
>Rudy starts fighting Eram a la Flowery vs Knight except he doesn’t get slashed in half. Noelle is ecstatic, but Kris knows what happened…
Dess Design revealed to me in a dream. there was a reveal that Kris and Asriel were working together to open dark worlds and bring back Dess through lightner sacrifice. Dess was a bit of an ass though. Real malicious.
I’d color it but she was entirely monochrome in the dream, practically standing in shadow, only partially lit by the glow of a TV
