Guest Reccer: Top Ten Bandom Crossover/Fusion Stories
Crossovers and fusions have always had a special place in my fannish heart. They can be a gateway to the marvels of new fandoms or a welcome reminder of an old beloved one, or simply an intriguing way to show the characters we love in a new light.
As usual I've had problems deciding on which ten to include in this list but these are Ten Really Cool Bandom Crossover/Fusion Stories That I Like A Lot, ordered by fandom.

What it is & why you should read it: Spencer might be a boy but he's still the Slayer and Bob is his Watcher. Both of these are wonderfully entertaining stories that manage to fuse the Buffy 'verse and the bandboys into an original and captivating, wonderfully well-realised whole. Witty and full of snark and banter, they're a delightful read.

Title: Mating for Life, and Other Cliches
Author:
arsenicjade
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Mikey/Bob, hinted Ron/Draco, Frank/Hermione courtship, Gerard/Brian pinings
Length: 13,950 words
What it is & why you should read it: Mikey and Gerard were born werewolves, Mikey's allergic to Wolfsbane, and we get to know what MCR was really up to on the hiatus. Arsenic always writes excellent crossovers and this is no exception. It's quiet and a little introspective, just like her Mikey, and I really like the way she writes the Way brothers. Nice band dynamics, fun dialogue, a great supporting cast of HP characters, and a very happy-making ending are added treats.
