Being a Plutonian
I'm a Capricorn Sun, with a Virgo Rising. Pluto is in my 1st house at 29 degree's Virgo. I also have a packed 3rd House of Venus, Mars, and Jupiter in Scorpio.
I'm certainly a deep and intense thinker. Being a Plutonian I have found is not an easy thing to handle, especially when I was younger. Writing Poetry has enabled me to use my energies more constructively. Had I not possessed that gift, it would have caused frustrated difficulties. it's bad enough being stuck in a human shell, yet alone knowing there's a whole lot more to be faced.
It's interesting how being a Plutonian develops. In my teens and 20's, my sexual energies were immensely powerful and took some handling. In my 30's, I began to develop my own interests, which I am also passionately intense about.
I feel it's important that Plutonians recognise and develop their own personal gifts. It's a planet of the higher mind, even though Astronomers don't recognise it as one anymore. I
It's interesting saying that, as if to say size matters, and that something so small as Pluto shouldn't warrant any special attention. That's the biggest mistake, because Pluto is deep and investigative. It likes to get under the skin, and have a good look around.
Plutonians possess a capability of understanding human nature and what lies within at a very deeply intuitive level.

Pluto as my lifesaver
I have a scorpio-pluto-libra-asc conjunction. My scorpio-venus is in my first house and it's been difficult to figure out what all this means. I've come to the conclusion that both venus-libra and pluto-scorpio are very important concerning my asc.
In dealing with my chart I found that it could be wise to always have the identity (sun) in the back of the brain. I actually thought that the sun was the easiest thing in the chart, but I guess I thought so because it's so easy to know:p
If I have gotten it right the sun is the identity - who you are, what you really should strive to be and get out there.
The asc is something that should be carried lightly, it's important in its way, but not like the sun. I'm not sure how pluto can be carried lightly though. My identity on the other hand... I have a jupiter-sun-neptune sagitarian conjunction.
I'm working on a theory on my own chart which acknowledge my problems but also how other things helps me out. Neptune gets me into a lot of trouble, Jupiter can help me with luck.
But when I get tied into a web of illusions and bad judgement and ends up in really crappy situations... I've done this a lot and after many years I feel I really can appriciate the thing about pluto that saves me at that point. Something happens that wakes me up - in a horrid painful way but none the less... and I find myself as a phoenix, I'm sort of loosing everything but the core and from the core I rebuileds something better. A lot of friends have been burned in the prosess, but at this point I don't care about their feelings. I lose a lot of security, but at this point I don't care. I have a Taurus moon so when pluto doesn't give this carelessness I care about these things in a high degree.
I tends to see rather clearly what is really important and true; and these are the things I save from the fire. I take with me my true friends, it's just the toxic or meaningless friendships that parish. Because I've had a bad habit of getting crappy friends this is a true blessing. And even though the experience of managing to start over again and again was a source of great anxiety before, it has given me the experience of managing it. Now I can see it as "what wonderful things are going to happen next" instead of "I've lost everything, I'm lost, I'll never get over this etc".

Does Pluto deserve a place among our solar system's main planets, or were astronomers right to demote it to second-class status? Two years ago, poor Pluto's plight touched off the dispute over the how you define a planet, but now it's about much more than one little icy world. The Great Planet Debate rises to a whole new level this week, and thanks to the Internet, you can join in the debate yourself.
The long-awaited debate takes center stage at Johns Hopkins University's Applied Physics Laboratory, which is the base of science operations for NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto and other denizens of the solar system's outer regions.
The main event comes at 4:30 p.m. ET Thursday, when Mark Sykes of the Arizona-based Planetary Science Institute faces off against Neil deGrasse Tyson of New York's Hayden Planetarium. You can register to watch the Sykes-Tyson debate as well as other "Great Planet Debate" presentations via streaming video. The event's organizers also hope to pass along some questions for the debaters from the online audience.

I'm glad I found a plutonian community, I keep reading the libra sun description and for some reason, I don't really fit except for the "justice&peace" values the rest is all wrong. I looked at my chart and realized I had a pluto singleton in its own sign scorpio in my 2nd house squaring my other singleton venus in leo. The two planets are constantly "in friction" and this probably explains why I'm always the last one picked in sports and why I've always had so many problems with "relationships"(of any kind but especially "romantic">.>). I don't know what the "requirements" are but, this is what I've got so far. (Tell me if I'm wrong ^^)

Pluto conjunct my Capricorn Stellium - Any advice????
Well umm I don't know if its major or not myself, but after researching some sites, I'm assuming its a major transit. And my life is going through emotional hell right now. So maybe this has got to do something with it. Well Pluto's gonna conjunct my Sun, Ascendant, Mercury, sextile Moon, conjunct Uranus, conjunct Venus, conjunct Neptune, conjunct Saturn, conjunct North-Node, trine Mars precisely in THAT order. And I really don't know what to expect.
Plus on top of it I've Progressed Moon in SCORPIO!!! I really don't know how to interpret such a transit. I mean I've read stuff about Pluto, but it sounds pretty scary "Major changes" "Maybe some deaths" I don't want anyone to die. So any advice on how to handle the transit??? Or any info on what I'm in for??? Because I'm really non-plussed and a little scared. Thanks! Believe me ANY help is appreciated!!!

Mars in Scorpio.
I want to talk about Mars in Scorpio.
Some words that come to mind: seething, lust, desire, intense anger, jealousy, rage, supressed emotions, explosion & implosion, sexuality, extremes, destruction, self-destructive
I have a Mars/Pluto conjunction in Scorpio (opposite North Node & Midheaven)... it's a VERY powerful aspect (the most powerful?) in my chart (Sun/Moon midpoint, + the apex of other configurations)...
for me, this kind of stuff isn't just Mars expression ("this is the way I express my anger..") -- no -- *my whole nature/aura is expressed like this*, very obsessive, seething, supressed, coiled, etc... it's like I AM this energy...
I am a ticking time bomb.
To some degree (though perhaps more specific and/or not as encompassing/holistic/intense as my experience), I find this nature in other Mars-Scorpios...

There is a good analogical relationship between Uranus, Neptune and Pluto and the Holy Trinity as considered by the traditional Christian church.
Uranus would represent the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the eternal Logos or Word. (Uranus is the superior octave of Mercury, natural ruler of communication and ordinary words).
Neptune would represent the Holy Spirit, the "Comforter", the giver of spiritual gifts, a manifestation of God's Love (Neptune is the superior octave of Venus, natural ruler of the ordinary love).
Pluto would represent God the Father, a supreme authority that is beyond anything, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent (Pluto is the superior octave of Mars, natural ruler of will and action).
This seems like a perfect system to describe the Holy Trinity.
But what happens now that Pluto is no longer considered an actual planet, but only a "dwarf planet"? I feel compelled to inquire - is this a SIGN?
What if something is going to happen to Christianity as we know it?
Many of you are probably aware of Malachy's prophecy: in 1139, Saint Malachy wrote this prophecy about future popes, giving a short description for each one of them. The current Pope, Benedict XVI, is the last one described in the prophecy and after him there's only one whose reign will mark the end of papacy.

Should we be very worried about it? Isn't Pluto the astrological archetype of death and resurrection, of total transformation?
Why worry over Pluto having the same fate as its archetype?
If religion as we know it will die, it will surely be resurrected in a new form, much improved. The spirit never dies, so spirituality cannot die either.
Maybe this is just a step towards a better religion, a better life and a better world. God knows we need it and look forward to it.
Let me then say: "Pluto is dead. Long live Pluto!", in the traditional style used in various European countries when a new monarch accesses to the throne.
