Revenge of the 2.5D Complex

I am a man who has literally played thousands of video games in his lifetime. I have reviewed them, coded them, debugged them, tested them, participated in publications for them, conversed with their developers, written printed and sold strategy guides for them, studied their theory.

And that's just the stuff I can talk about in public!

In short, I like my toys, and I like discussing things about them openly and rationally. I know full well that "openly" and "rationally" are words that the Internet does not like. I reject its universe and substitute my own. Have fun here--that's the only rule.

If you disagree with something I say, that's totally cool! I'd love to hear your point of view. There's one catch: be a human being about it.
I'm the only one allowed to have a know-it-all complex here, because, well, it's my journal. If you try it, you will be summarily ignored because, quite frankly, I have absolutely zero tolerance for those who prove the existence of the Internet Fuckwad Theory. I will never, EVER go to your journal and be a smarmy smartass, so don't do it on mine.
