After more than a year, I've finally decided to be unlazy and icon again, in part because I finally decided to muck around in Photoshop again.

Lots of things have happened since I last posted, so much that it's probably too time-consuming to relay it all. In any case, I decided to make my return to the iconning world by learning how to make round-edged icons and making use of a bunch of stock photos.

Still on an iconning spree, but not quite as focused as before. Trying to experiment and learn how to make my own textures. Reintroduced myself to colour lovers and remembered why I loved that site (and they have a great iPhone app too! colour schemer).

Trying to make this comm into a slightly more all-around icon resource comm, as well as as featuring whatever icons we might have. Added a new category, animation, largely in part because of Legend of Korra, which isn't quite animanga.

Screencapped the heck out of the first two episodes too, so I thought to share what I capped lest they just stay locked up on my computer without anyone else using them, which is such a waste.

This is me trying my hand at making icon textures. As always, I'll be starting with a particular style and hopefully building off from there. For now, it'll probably be some color combinations I like, swirled together, with some of the filters found in Photoshop.
