Color Fiend Question

Hi all. I'm looking for very temporary hair dye. Something that will wash out in about a week. Color Fiend says it's "temporary" hair dye but for those who have used it how temporary where your average experiences?

Other than color fiend could anyone share any non-permanent hair dye brands? Don't worry about which color though, we're not sure the color we're going with just yet. I'm not using a royal 'we', I'm asking on behalf of a friend. :)

I did check tags before posting this and found no suggestions for what I was looking for.

Thanks in advance!

Edited with more information:
My friend is my fiance's grandma. I found out she wants to dye it purple for a week. I'm not sure how often she washes her hair. However, I'm sure that she'll be washing it aggressively by the end of the week in attempts to get it back to normal. She also mentioned something about a purple rinse. Though I thought rinses were as permanent as dying. I wonder if she would go with a light purple or lavender - people might just mistake it for gray depending on the hue.

That's all the additional info I have.
come in we're open-- art by fins.
