pinepigHere's another handful of photos from our trip to Calico, California. I'm almost through processing the first stop of our 3 week trip. I've got 21 shots left from the Calico day....another ?700-800 to go through? :)
I uploaded my first lot of photos to a new Calico and Calif Desert album. Some I've shared here in the past, there may be one or 2 new. I'll put a couple above the cut, the rest under to save your friends lists.
This cat was cool. S/He hung out in this spot not worried about the tourists wandering around. S/He reminded me of our Ah Le Gai.
This is one of the Bottle House, framed by the ruins of another building.
These are the bottles inside the Bottle House. The house was closed and some of the bottles had been knocked into the house, there was broken glass inside and a large light fixture or something. I was bummed, I wanted to get some cool shots from inside. Oh well, I managed a couple through the window.
This is one that shows some of the tortured-looking geology in the area. This boulder is about the size of a car.
