They both sound so tired )))): like I whacked Clark a lot in this episode (not taking it back, sorry) but he does genuinely suffers the consequences of going for Lionel in a moment of vulnerability like he does suffer it hardly badly and horribly. But something is broken forever here like I feel Clark's fear over Lex remembering things to the point of going to Lionel, and Lionel telling Lex that Clark did is definitely A Moment in their divorce. Like surely the biggest divorce moment is the room discovery but this is where their trust in each other get broken for real you know
