Lionsgate Entertainment has apparently made the decision to only "test market" "Shattered" aka "Butterfly on a Wheel" to a very small market in less than ten theatres in Miami , FL.
As you know, this film stars three fantastic actors, Pierce Brosnan, Maria Bello and Gerard Butler, all of which have proved their worth as actors time and time again. Mr. Butler is currently a very hot commodity and it is baffling to me why the powers that be at Lionsgate wouldn't want to capitalize on that momentum.
Because it seems Lionsgate is intent on only releasing this film to such a small market, one of our valued members, Hollywood , has initiated an open letter to Lionsgate and a subsequent petition to have this film released to a wider market. (
