I just got Adobe PhotoShop CS5 and I'm having some trouble with it. I really want to learn to make animations with it. I keep having to use ImageReady 7 and I'd rather uninstall it now and have some extra space in my hard drive. So here's my question, how can I make animation gif.s on photoshop cs5? or how can I import a folder as frames (layers) like you can do on ImageReady? Anything helps. Please please please this is giving me a major headache. I'm getting very frustrated with it.

Um. I need help please. I have no idea why, but for some reason, my Photoshop brushes aren't working. o_o I tried using them, and they just...don't work. Everything else seems to being working correctly except those. o.O Any idea what could be wrong?
Sorry, this probably sounds like a dumb question, but I'm looking to get PS CS. I went online to check which stores carry it, and I was bombarded with vague descriptions of different software.
I /used/ to have PS6, but I don't have the CD, and my computer was wiped (to get rid of all the adware-spyware)
So; do I buy Photoshop CS2, Photoshop CS2 Standard Upgrade (is this an add-on to CS?), or Creative Suite 2 (Uhh...I really don't want to have to get this one....its WAY out of my price range =S
Also, does anyone know of another place where I could buy it, WITHOUT buying it online??

My version of Photoshop CS seems to have problems handling colours. I enter a specific hex code, and when I upload it the colour is every so slightly paler than I wanted it to be. I know it's some mismatch in colour management, and I've fixed it before (you guys probably helped me!) but I can't remember what to do. Any ideas how I get PCS to stop messing up colours?
Hi, I hope somoene can help with this...
Occasionally when I resize an image I end up with a faded 1px wide border around the image. For example, the icon I've used on this post.
If you zoom in on it, you can clearly see the line around the outside. It also means that, at normal size, the edges don't look as crisp.
At first I thought it was due to the cropping process, and tried it with an entirely black photoshop image. When I cropped it to 100x100 it didn't show up. I started again with the completely black image, and when I resized it to 100x100 that damn faded line around the outside appeared. Gah!
It doesn't happen with every image, but it's driving me nuts. I was wondering if there was something I could do, or that I was doing wrong?
there any tutorial of how to make old movies lines? thanks~
Hello
I use photoshop cs2 and I can't seem to find the variations
option anywhere, it used to be there now it just disappeared!
I don't know what to do :(
So I have no idea what I'm doing. I have never made an icon before nor have I ever used Photoshop. But, I got Photoshop CS the other day and I have no idea what I'm doing.
I got a ton of brushes and I know how to load them but I guess I just don't know how to use them right.
I know, I'm dumb. LOL.
Anyways, does anyone know of a good tutorial that goes, step by step, how to use a brush for someone in my position?
Thanks much.

I have been having some trouble with the selection tool. Whenever I try to select something, it says that no more than %50 of the pixels were selected and the edges of the selection wont be visible. Then, when I go to paste it, it is only faint and not the regular picture. I have been able to get around it with using the magic wand tool, but I cant do anything other than "select all".
If anybody knows whats going on I be grateful.
