This community is dedicated to all food lovers in the Phoenix-area, and Arizona in general. If you love going out to eat, trying new restaurants, reading restaurant reviews, cooking, trying new recipes and wine pairings, etc., etc., then this is a forum for you.
This community differs from other similars in it's overall style, and, it's agenda - to help promote and maintain independent Phoenix-area restaurateurs' and chefs' success in an objective fashion, and to help boost Phoenix's 'cuisine status' to top-tier, where it deserves to be.
Post (* it's going to take everyone's contributions to thrive!) + Reviews and or suggestions of area restaurants (both positive and negative). + News of any upcoming new restaurants. + Questions about new restaurants to try. + Great recipes. + Pictures of your accomplishments. + Any and all local foodie gossip. + Etc., etc.
Our new--though still unfinished--online blog: Phoenix Foodie Online (restaurant listings by neighborhood, restaurant reviews, etc.)
Phoenix culinary institutions: + Scottsdale Culinary Institute, Scottsdale, Arizona. + Arizona Culinary Institute, Scottsdale, Arizona. + Scottsdale Community College, Scottsdale, Arizona. + Art Institute of Phoenix, Phoenix, Arizona.
Warranted disclaimer: Though we all love a good P.F. Chang's or Cheesecake Factory every now and again, this community will try to avoid highlighting the more corporate, chain, and suburban restaurants that seem to infest the Phoenix-area in particular, and, hope to sharpen it's focus solely on establishments that are more non-generic and unique to the area. Remember, diversity is a good thing--even in Phoenix.
