  3. Analysis of the Epidemic Biological Model of Tuberculosis (TB) via Numerical Schemes.S. Kanwal, M. K. Siddiqui, E. Bonyah, K. Sarwar, T. S. Shaikh & N. Ahmed - 2022 - Complexity 2022:1-13.
Tuberculosis is caused by bacillus Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In this study, a mathematical model of tuberculosis is analyzed. The numerical behaviour of the considered model is analyzed including basic reproduction number and stability. We applied three numerical techniques to this model, i.e., nonstandard finite difference scheme, Runge–Kutta method of order 4, and forward Euler scheme. NSFD scheme preserves all the essential properties of the model. Acquired results corroborate that NSFD scheme converges for each step size. While the other two schemes failed (...)

    Ordering Acyclic Connected Structures of Trees Having Greatest Degree-Based Invariants.S. Kanwal, M. K. Siddiqui, E. Bonyah, T. S. Shaikh, I. Irshad & S. Khalid - 2022 - Complexity 2022:1-16.
Being building block of data sciences, link prediction plays a vital role in revealing the hidden mechanisms that lead the networking dynamics. Since many techniques depending in vertex similarity and edge features were put forward to rule out many well-known link prediction challenges, many problems are still there just because of unique formulation characteristics of sparse networks. In this study, we applied some graph transformations and several inequalities to determine the greatest value of first and second Zagreb invariant, S K (...)

Charting speech with bats without requiring maps.Jagmeet S. Kanwal - 1998 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 21 (2):272-273.
The effort to understand speech perception on the basis of relationships between acoustic parameters of speech sounds is to be recommended. Neural specializations (combination-sensitivity) for echolocation, communication, and sound localization probably constitute the common mechanisms of vertebrate auditory processing and may be essential for speech production as well as perception. There is, however, no need for meaningful maps.

Benzies, Carol Ewashen, Martha Hart & Nicole Letourneau - 2020 - Frontiers in Psychology 11.
Reflective function is defined as an individual’s ability to understand human behavior in terms of underlying mental states including thoughts, feelings, desires, beliefs, and intentions. More specifically, the capacity of parents to keep their child’s mental states in mind is referred to as parental RF. RF has been linked to adult mental health and parental RF to children’s mental health and development. The gold standard measure of RF is the interview-based Reflective Functioning Scale applied to the Parent Development Interview or (...)

Long-Distance Agreement in Urdu Infinitival Clauses: A Syntactic Analysis.Naila Kanwal Dar & Asad Ali - 2026 - Wah Academia Journal of Global Religions 2 (1):61.
The aim of the current is to investigate long-distance agreement (LDA) in Urdu infinitive clauses specifically emphasizing on DPs case licensing, agreement, and movement, employing Bošković’s model (2003, 2006, 2007). Previous studies articulated that long-distance agreement (LDA) is mediated by case-driven in long-distance movement, short distance movement in diverse range of languages including Hindi Urdu, Kashmiri, and Tsez to the clause edge, thereby enabling agreement across domains. Such outcomes established a close link between case and agreement, with movement providing the (...)

Constructive and Destructive Deviance: Navigating the Dual Impact of Abusive Supervision.Dheeraj Sharma, Koustab Ghosh & Lubna Rashid Malik - forthcoming - Journal of Business Ethics:1-21.
Existing literature indicates that abusive supervision yields adverse effects for both individuals and organizations. Nevertheless, empirical evidence suggests that people react differently to abusive supervision. In particular, there is insufficient knowledge regarding constructive responses to abusive supervision. Drawing from attribution and cognitive appraisal theories, the current study examines how individuals may behave both constructively and destructively under abusive supervision. Employing two multi-wave, multi-source studies, the current study findings highlight that guilt acts as a mediator between abusive supervision and supervisor-directed constructive (...)

Sustainability managers represent a key stakeholder in implementing and diffusing sustainability initiatives. However, there is a significant gap in the literature examining the impact of greenwashing on sustainability managers. This research examines the effects of greenwashing on sustainability managers' job satisfaction, commitment, turnover intentions, and job performance from a social identity/person–organization (P‐O) fit perspective. Our sample consists of practicing sustainability managers (n = 125) in high‐ (77%) or mid‐level (23%) positions. Results indicate that perceived greenwashing negatively affects the attitudinal outcomes (...)
