Abstract

In this contribution, I try to describe a particular Facebook profile based on my experience in the ethnographic field of social networks and according to socio-enunciative criteria. I draw from the work of Alain Rabatel various notions of which the distinction between ethos shown and ethos said, as well as that of idiolecte (2005) considered in its relationship with the representation of the other and in an individuality/sociality dialectic. I also mobilize the posture one (as developed by Meizoz 2009, Maingueneau 2009, Rosier 2011) because it allows to scrutinize the co-construction of an image of the Internet user by polysemiotic means, embedded in a long and interactive timeline. But the technological and enunciative scenography of FB as practiced by the enunciator of my corpus fails to give it a clear postural view.
