Abstract

Education represents the practical criterion for the acculturation of political ideology on each side of the Arab-Israeli struggle through its role in the preparation and mobilization that precedes every stage. It has affected lifestyles on both sides. The subject of this study lies in the extent and clarity of each of the conflicting parties regarding the role of education and the impact on the vision to serve the interests of each. Therefore, political ideology at both sides of the struggle specifies a vision for the role of education to build capable individuals and draws a picture of greatness in the minds of the youth according to the pattern, deemed sufficient and appropriate to realize excellence and superiority over the opponent. Inasmuch as that ideology is clear, education can effectuate the best condition to those on both sides who adhere to such a vision.
