Abstract

The present paper intends to show some differences and similitude between the African philosophy, in the person of the African philosopher Achille Mbembe, and the decolonial theory, which the principal thinker is the Argentinian philosopher Enrique Düssel, in respect to some of his authors. For that, we analyze the origins and constitution of the decolonial thought, epitomizing its productions and delineating the core of these school of thought. After that, we indicate the concept of devenir nègre du monde in the work of Mbembe, showing some similitude between the two schools. In the end, we interpret both works as strategies in a conflicted world.
