Things in my life have gotten bad. I'm going to try to start using this again, except as a rather personal journal. Since I have no idea if anyone is actually reading these anymore, I'm going to make a filter to use for these entries. If you want on, drop a comment. This is going to be my only public post.
For posterity, I'm simply going to cut and paste my LJ Bio as it was last time I was previously active.
I am married to kpht. We met on b0st0n. For real real, not for play play. The internetz R fun.
I work as a DJ and promoter at bars and clubs in Boston and beyond.
I also take other gigs - in fact my Saturdays and Sundays are usually left open specifically for weddings, but only the fun, unique and interesting ones.
I have a baby on the way and I've recently started losing my hair so I figured it was time to diversify. As a result, I have taken a job working with food. I like my jobs.
Speaking of food, BBQ is my passion. Real BBQ. Grillin' is fun too, but it aint BBQ.
I enjoy taking cheap, plentiful, and what are normally considered leftover/low-grade/etc ingredients and turning them into good eatin'.
I love bicycles.
All of my websites are woefully out of date. Keep up with me here or at myspace. Scratch that, keep up with me here.
saturday is our next bbq, and our first one that we took the time to plan out in advance. this means you must attend! ok, if you dont attend, we wont hate you. but it'd be cool to see everyone in one place.
instead of steaks this time, i'm going to feature smoked sausages. if you are in need of a non-formed / non-tube piece of meat (like steak!) you are going to have to bring your own.
to go with the smoked sausages, i'll have caramelized onions (they are like lily candy, i swear,) peppers, and home made spicy brown mustard. oh and we're going to get a case of limes at haymarket and make everyone's favorite summer mixer - lime-aid.
you're welcome to bring your own featured items as well! but if you are feeling uncreative we are in need of : burger meat, burger buns, beer and booze.
seating may be an issue, so if you have some extra lawn chairs feel free to bring some along. otherwise, we have plenty of blankets so we can all just hang out on the grass. there's no chicken poop, we swear!
