being small and tentatively walking around a cathedral, like being in the stomach of a great whale, solemn hymn music playing and feeling thoroughly unnerved
a crashing sound from a tree, to find on the ground below a fallen collared dove with blood flowing from its chest
a completely browned burnt out car in the middle of a park on a bright sunny day, that in my mind had been pulled from the bottom of a river bed after many years
I love girls who take pictures of dead animals they come across on their walks. a simple act of memorialising. a commemoration. a reverence for the small things
