Same problem in svwiki. "Old maps" are displayed, but as soon as the page cache is cleared, only the "miniature map" is displayed.

Same problem on nowiki and nnwiki.

Oh, my. I had originally thought it was just the map on [[:en:Ceuta]] that was broken. It seems to be happening on all {{maplink}}s I can find.

This is also happening for me on enwiki, but not on all pages. Also, page San Francisco County Superior Court was working normally until I purged it, after which it was broken.

yes, if 5 people have the problem, 6 people will have the problem. We don't need more confirmations. We simply have to wait for monday.

Turning off Media Viewer in WP/Commons preferences or adding a wiki class (as stated here) gets around it - but it needs a proper fix of course.

The https://maps.wikimedia.org maps service is reachable now, but it appears to be using an older OSM dataset. Recent edits that are already visible on OSM (including newly added landuse/forest polygons and places) are still absent from Wikimedia maps several days after being committed.
In addition, the original problem persists: Interactive maps embedded in Wiki articles still fail to load. On desktop, clicking the map still results in broken map behavior (File:Osm-intl... issues), and on mobile the message "Sorry, the map cannot be displayed" is still shown.

Please don't mix separate problems in one and the same ticket. This is a totally different problem from anything described here and you should file a separate ticket.
