HELLO DARLINGS

The sky is a weird blue color today, and there's something SUPER BRIGHT hanging in it that also makes shadows on the ground, IDK IT'S KIND OF AMAZING

And I have just one class in the afternoon today, which I'm looking forward to, and the morning will be spent on doing stuff for my 1-credit online class and getting some lecture notes up for a different class, and maybe some data analysis. MY LIFE SO FUN HAH

ANYWAY. Welcome, y'all! I have hot and cold beverages for everyone -- the benefit of internet beverages is they're EXACTLY the way you like them, all the time! -- and I hope your days are treating you well. I didn't watch the Big Sportsball and Commercial Extravaganza (I mostly worked on a Tunisian crochet wrap while watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), so: If there's something you saw and think I should also go see, feel free to comment below! :D

Can you have too many projects in-process? -- asking for a friend

YES -- there is such a thing as too many plates spinning, too many balls in the air, too much going on at once

NO -- starting projects is fun! and sometimes they like to hibernate, or age like fine wine

I...may have wound some yarn over the weekend, and really kind of want to start something in my queue. My current knit has hit the lacy part, requiring concentration, so maybe it isn't the best thing to carry with me everywhere anymore?

You can’t have “too many projects.” You can, however, have “not enough time.”

Well, if you’re feeling discouraged, just remember that you may only finish, say, 60% of the projects you start ... but you finish 0% of the ones you don’t start.

What Blackmare said! It only feels like too many projects. That said, as charter member and president of Project Starters Anonymous Local # 666 *g*, I do understand your dilemma.

(When I think of all the work in my slush files, I wanna cry sometimes, honestly. Most of it deserves to be there, but dammit, some of it I really do want to bring to light...)

Considering I just finished a grannysquare afghan I started in 2002... nah, start as many projects as you like.

I love fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, I recently just did a rewatch and was surprised how well it held up.

If you have not yet seen the Chris Evans et all Boston self-pakhing cah ad you should hunt it down. It's delightful.

Olivier!!! *heart eyes*

I really also love how Ed ages during the anime. He really does look quite a bit older during Promised Day in comparison to when he's testing to become an alchemist.

The coloring aspect of the races though is weird. In the final picture Ed's son looks like him (eyes and hair) while his daughter like Winry. (It makes me wonder what Al and May's kids would look like, assuming they end up together and have kids)

I do still wish there'd been a way for Ed to keep his alchemy though at the end. Thankfully, there is fanfic for that.

I don’t trust the sky when it’s like that

Good luck with your class!

I think it depends on what the projects are

Most of the commercials were pretty meh. I agree with the Chris Evans one, and the Bill Murray commercial was hilarious. Because of course Bill Murray.

I've had writer's block so all of my many projects are stuck in my head.
