Personal Sound: personal music reccomendations
Intro
The purpose of this community is to introduce people to artists, songs and genres of music that they otherwise might not hear. Basically, I make posts (hopefully weekly/bi-weekly) that feature music recommendations and mp3s for you to download and give a listen to. But since this is a personal music rec community all posts will be subject to my own taste in music. Which I think is pretty broad, but really probably isn't. I like a lot of rock, pop, electro, folk and indie. I'm not big on Top 40, country, rap or non-English songs but I do make occasional exceptions for good stuff on a song by song basis. To give you a bit of a better idea here are:

The RIAA states that all downloaded music should be deleted after 24 hours. Music downloaded here is your responsibility. I will not upload full albums, not even by request. The idea is to introduce people to new music, not to help them steal it. If you really like an artist be supportive and buy their album. It's the best way to insure that your favorite artists keep making the music that you love.
