Finally done with these commissioned band posters. It was fun to work with ink again. Love it. Also, I don't think I ever need to draw gears again in my life. ...Ever.

UGH NO I HATE IT WHEN I SEE THAT LITTLE FLOATY CIRCLE IN MY VISION THAT MEANS 'HEY GUESS WHAT ITS MIGRAINE TIME'. It's happening right now. The circle is about half way to full size :[ I wonder if anyone knows what im talking about. Does anyone else get this circle in their vision before a migraine?

I'm gonna take some pre-emptive Excedrin Migraine and lay down and try to sleep it off. ughhhh.

Read the Aubrey/Maturin books, people. All Dr. Maturin does is lie around naked, pick up awesome animals, not understand anything nautical, fall overboard, and complain about not being able to go ashore and all Cpt. Aubrey does is laugh and climb to the top of the ship and fight awesome seabattles and get drunk. SOUNDS LIKE FUN TO ME.


I found a little crab in the bag of shells I brought back from seatown, so I popped him in some alcohol and bottled him up and hopefully he'll stay that way. He's missing an arm, but other than that, he's intact! Even his little eyes!

Shit I'm addicted to tumblr already. Now I feel empty if i dont check it twice a day, hahaha. OH GOD ITS A SICKNESS.

Back in san fran - i just missed the snow in seattle :[ it snowed at least an inch just while I was sitting on the plane and I was sitting there thinking 'COULDNT YOU HAVE DONE THIS YESTERDAY AND THEN I COULD HAVE HUNG OUT WITH MY MOM MORE :[' I am such a momma's girl.

I bought like 80000000 books. but more like 20. I couldnt fit them all in my bags and still be able to lift them. but i got all the harry potters I needed, so now I have the full set! and I got like 8 more Aubrey/Maturin ones! And some Yeats, a novel about Mary Shelley, 20000 leagues under the sea, some Herman Melville, a book about cartography, and others. Man. I have a problem.

also a bunch of new shells from shilshole, including some moon snail shells (none intact- SOME DAYYY) and some seaglass, and some new shadowboxes! So I'll be making more shell collectiony thingies soon :)

I am so tired, man. I slept until 11 today. Course I was up til like 2. So I guess that almost evens out to a normal amount of sleep.

gotta unpack now, ughhhhhhhhhhhh.

Just finished 'H M S Surprise', book 3 of the aubrey/maturin series - starting 4 tomorrow. I got 6 and 8 on clearance, but not 5!! What will I do!?

so many books have been gotten in the past two days. so. many. books. i love books.

tomorrow maybe goodwill! Eee.

I had to get a blood draw the other day, in addition to all my other doctory things, and the bruise now is SO BAD :[ it's really ugly and it hurts. I hate the whole thing - needles, everything, and I found out that my left arm vein is total crap and my right one ROLLS, and not only does it ROLL, but it drains REAL SLOW. So this all equates a good time for me. But I made it through the whole process without passing out, without crying, and sitting up - I didn't have to lay down! yay!

Today went like this: Oatmeal -> Monty Python -> Darts in the backyard -> Planting succulent cuttings -> FILMING -> Ow, a canker sore! -> jewelry making

With a lot of eating in between. So much food. Ugh. It would have been good for me except for the bread. All. That. Bread.

We filmed a car chase today and our neighbors got mad at us for being in the street. Seriously, get over it. We can't be in the road for 20 minutes? Give me a break.

Looks like no job for me, ALAS. Whatever, job. I didn't need you anyway. Except that I do.

The weather has been freaking amazing lately - it's 75 today. 75! I want to go to the park and play tennis. It's been this nice all January and now February too - finally, we get a 'summer'!

Today I am feeling very excited about our Paris trip this summer. Also looking for other jobs to send my resume in to. And working on projects with people. Nothing to do with the Super Bowl. Ha.

Job interview tomorrow HYUUGHHH. (thats the sound Richard makes when he pretends to puke). Not excited. And I ate a bunch of ice cream and pho today so I feel sick. The pho was awesome though.

Is it just me or is livejournal going really slowly lately? Maybe it's just my lame computer (which doesnt charge the battery, doesnt have a working powercord, and now only has one speaker working).

LIFE. Life has been ok. Still jobless. But making a tiny bit of money (not enough :[). I've read four books so far this year and am almost done with a fifth. I have been painting. My friend and I are starting another etsy business thing, we'll see how that goes. I just ordered new business cards, I hope I get a chance to use them :]

Party tonight. There's always a party happenin at the Melrose house, oh yeahhh. Pictures might follow. I want to try to update this thing more often this year. I've been keeping a paper journal, though, so that feels pretty good!
