NaNoWriMo 2014
I am taking part in NaNo once again this year. I will be writing a story called The Soul's Eyes. Use this post to track my progress.

Chill Breeze to be on Amazon
In a few days, Chill Breeze will be available on Amazon for download to Kindle. The cover art is slightly different. It is the same cover but in a blue tint.
ABNA 2014 Round 2
I once again submitted Chill Breeze to the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest. I re-worked my pitch and entered when the submission period opened last month. When the list of those moving on to Round 2 was released I discovered that Chill Breeze is on it! I have finally moved past the original submission round to Round 2. Hopefully, this is a sign of even better things to come. Wish me luck!
Negative on ABNA
Well, once again, even with the new, hard worked pitch, I did not get past the first round of ABNA. I will be submitting my book to Amazon's publishing department soon though. Probably by Easter. It just gets me down and frustrates me that I can't catch that break, but oh well. Maybe next time.
Mid January Update
I stayed up late and entered the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest (ABNA) last night - er- this morning - whatever - and man was I sweating bullets and swearing under my breath as I was using Internet Explorer and it was not letting me input my excerpt. Finally, I found the forum/bulletin board and found others having the same issue and it said try using Chrome or Firefox and I used Chrome and got it with no trouble. So, Chill Breeze is now entered in the contest and I am pleased with my pitch, it is much better than last time. I am very hopeful. Especially since I did not need to enter my fantasy novel under General Fiction or YA Fiction. There was a category for scifi/fantasy this year, so YAY! The novels that are moving on to the next round are announced February 13, so until then I will be on tenterhooks.
