There was an episode recently where John pulled out the scary voice and it was actually scary, like lived up to all my fic expectations which made me so happy. This is kind of a cool idea. And makes us all vainly hopeful. Pick someone else's story to make a DVD commentary on! Get the author's permission, claim it in the comments, and post it by the due date. Which is, uh.

Anyway! Fun for all. Except my commentary skills are limited to yay!, SQUEE, and *flails*, so I'm hesitant to sign up, but it's is still cool.

Okay, so I can't stand manips. Can't. stand. them. Because no matter how seamless, it's usually painfully obvious that the character's expression was not made while in that position. And it's. Like watching bad acting. Really, really bad acting.

But. Wow.

liviapenn made a romance novel-esque John and Teyla manip and it's... it's just awesome. The style and the pose and the layout. I have special love for Atlantis in the background. I'm horribly curious to see the original pictures she used.
