I'm not sure this episode ever started making sense, but it was fun. ( Collapse )
Progreny was a similar sort of "What...?" but still enjoyable. There was an episode recently where John pulled out the scary voice and it was actually scary, like lived up to all my fic expectations which made me so happy. Now I can't remember which one it was... Anyway, the bit I really loved about progeny was ( Collapse )
Radek is brilliant, John is... well, emo, and Rodney--oh, Rodney. My favorite might have to be the second for that tiny, tiny little way his hair looks a bit--a bit--wolveriney. *delight*
Also, off topic, I sent postcards to retrofit88, monanotlisa, abbylee, and vileseagulls. Go me! If you're really nice--and I don't already know--please drop me a line when you get it so I know it was successful. Cool!
This is kind of a cool idea. And makes us all vainly hopeful. Pick someone else's story to make a DVD commentary on! Get the author's permission, claim it in the comments, and post it by the due date. Which is, uh.
Anyway! Fun for all. Except my commentary skills are limited to yay!, SQUEE, and *flails*, so I'm hesitant to sign up, but it's is still cool.
...I should never go into advertising, huh. But its' like spontaneous presents! Come on!
I don't usually rec smut, but I am gradually coming to the realization that 30toseoul writes my favorite porn.
30toseoul's 'frustration porn' is friendslocked, but if you are on her friendslist, and you haven't read it--well. See. The wrestling. Yes. Not adorable wrestling, no. This is yum.
Okay, so I can't stand manips. Can't. stand. them. Because no matter how seamless, it's usually painfully obvious that the character's expression was not made while in that position. And it's. Like watching bad acting. Really, really bad acting.
But. Wow.
liviapenn made a romance novel-esque John and Teyla manip and it's... it's just awesome. The style and the pose and the layout. I have special love for Atlantis in the background. I'm horribly curious to see the original pictures she used.
Hello, friends! So I realized the other day, that, well, people read my journal who are not me. Which led to me composing this brief, but magical introduction.
Which basically tells you, look! There are links in the side bar of my journal page!
