This account is primarily for fannish activity, which I try to keep restricted to my online life. Should any of my real-life friends or acquaintances happen upon this, congratulations: you now know just how great a nerd I truly am.

My overly polysyllabic username refers to the Bluebell perfume manufactured by Penhaligon's of London. My mother used to wear it when I was a little girl, and on such occasions as my First Eucharist or a visit to the opera, she would let me dab some on my wrists. I remember thinking that the paper on the perfume box was the most perfect blue in creation: almost grey, with a hint of green, and oh-so-elegant behind the gold lettering. The scent of the perfume was divine, as well - according to Penhaligon's, bluebell is one of the most challenging scents to imitate because of its subtlety and delicacy. It's one of my clearest and fondest childhood memories, which is why I feel justified in waxing absurdly poetic about it.

Images in mood theme were all drawn by the talented and delightful kasche.
