Well I never!

This just goes to show that you should never delete stories that you think you might not finish (note to self). This was started about four years ago and dug up again today in hopes of feeling inspired. And suddenly there was an ending that made sense :)

I've been working on getting back into the Harry Potter mindset so I can finally get somewhere with my help_japan fic, and while reading the HP Wiki, I came across a few very amusing pictures.

Digging out my favorite icon of all time in anticipation of ficcage, and the upcoming movie. Less than a month! :)

The help_japan auction is ending soon, so here is my offer again in case anyone wants to bid last minute :) The current highest bid is at $77.

On that note, anyone have experience with charities? I've donated to Doctors Without Borders before, now the husband's firm is matching donations to World Vision. It's hard to know which are the 'good' charities when stories keep surfacing about misappropriation of funds etc. Both DWB and WV seem okay, but who knows. I'll probably donate to WV so the donation can be matched, hopefully that way it'll go to the right places. Where are you donating?

I think this is a good reason to go back on what I said about being done with TH fanfic :)

Now that Secret Santa is over, I can post this and shower praise on amythystluna :) Not only did she beta this monster fic in record speed, but she also provided invaluable feedback and enthusiasm when I thought I'd crash under all the real life stress. <333 I'm really proud of this fic - enjoy :)
