May we use original characters?Yes you may. I would encourage original characters to be in an original setting, but if absolutely necessary, they may be in a fandom setting.
May we include characters from multiple fandoms (crossovers)?Yes, but be sure to list all fandoms involved in the claim.
What about fandom or original characters from a community RPG?Again, yes, but you must list the community RPG as well as the distinct fandom(s) the characters are from. In cases such as Gaia Online's Breedables community, please list the specific shop/creature species.
What if I want to write about a relationship?As long as the character chosen for you per story is the focus of the story, you may write about whatever you wish. If, in order to succeed, a story needs to have multiple focuses, that's fine. Just ensure the character chosen is one of the major focuses.
Do our stories have to be in third person perspective?No. They can be in whatever perspective best suits your style, as long as each story focuses on the character chosen.
What do you mean by interconnected stories?The stories should form a cohesive series - if event X happens in story 1, then in story 2, you cannot simply ignore the effects of event X. Each story should build on the previous.
Why can I only have one claim?Because this challenge is complex, I've chosen to restrict the number of claims to one per person. If you find you have trouble with your claim, you are more than welcome to drop it
here and request a new claim.
