Weeding Party Saturday?
I'm admitting that I'm desperate... my yard needs some attention, and I'm unfortunately not able to do it myself due to arthritis. It means I can't crouch or kneel for more than a minute or two.
Two weekends ago I had arranged through Craigslist for someone to come weed my yard. He called saying he'd have to reschedule for a couple days later, and I've never heard from him again. Craigslist doesn't allow you to repost in the gigs section within a certain period of time, or it labels you a spammer.
So, novel idea, How about I offer pizza, beer and wine to anyone who wants to come hang out on Saturday and help me weed my teeny tiny yard! I only have one pair of gardening gloves, and a few short-handled tools, so if you have a rake, gloves, or anything else, that would be a help.
All the vittles and booze are on me. I was thinking about 6 PM while it's still light and it's starting to cool off. The weekend is supposed to be pretty warm.
