Happy Birthday misterandersen!

It lives! It's alive! I don't think it comes from around here.

Had birthday dinner at a nice middle eastern place with family and friends. Been faaaaaaaaaar too long since I've had baklava.

After two brutally hot days, this cool change is glorious! You tend to miss the sheer size of them when you're too far inland.

I really really love Donna. She's utterly brilliant, though it's frustrating it's taken until year 4 for something so brilliant to come along.

But, yeah, Helen Raynor? Who is she fucking to get these two parters that she seems so capable of fucking up? Maybe it's Davies' continual interference that has turned the 10th Doctor into something so preachy and deeply unlikeable, but I don't think so. She writes the Sontarrans in a way that seems ever so slightly off, while Martha comes across all to often as a simpering whiner.

I'm really sick and tired of it.

We have 2 national broadcasters, one of which is SBS - the Special Broadcast Service - has all manner of foreign programs. One such was a German movie named Fremde Haut (aka Unveiled). It's about Fariba, an Iranian lesbian who flees to Germany and is forced to live under the assumed identity of Siamak, a male asylum seeker when her claim is denied and he conveniently dies just before his is provisionally granted.

We would like to know who really believes in gay rights on Livejournal. There is no bribe of a miracle or anything like that. If you truly believe in gay rights, then repost this and title the post as "Gay Rights". If you don't believe in gay rights, then just move on. Thanks.

AvP2 promised much after the poorly executed AvP, ended up being even worse - a terrible, terrible film. It steals visual and audio cues (not to mention entire set-pieces of plot) from its parent franchises, ( Collapse ), poorly conceived and appears to have about 10 minutes of its middle missing.

Do not see this film under any circumstances unless you hate yourself.
