idk how many times has to be said but polyamory is not a strategic utilitarian solution to a problem it is a sexual and romantic preference that some people have and some people dont. “this love triangle would be Solved with polyamory” ok but would the people in question actually be open to a polyamorist lifestyle? having twice as many partners means having at least twice as many relationship problems it’s not automatically “easier”
