One of my major hobbies is photography. Here are a few of the pictures I got at my most recent workshop - down along the Outer Banks of North Carolina.( Collapse )
This afternoon while reading about Hurricane Irene I felt the house being to shake and heard the blinds being to rattle. (They were closed because my mother and I were watching a DVD). It took a few seconds to figure out what was going on. I wondered if there was a helicopter right out side the house (I watch way to much TV), or the washing machine had gone mad. After a few seconds I realized what it was. An earthquake. Much stronger and longer then one I felt several months ago.
Like everyone else I tired to get a hold of loved one (in my case sister as I live with my mom). After turning on the radio and heard there was in fact an earthquake. Turns out it was 5.8. Pretty much nothing for those on the west coast, but as been said by more then a few people on the news, it is a big deal for those of us in the DC area. There is a reason many of us don't live on the west coast.
You like to question things and have issues settled before going to work on a problem. You appreciate art, elegant forms, and efficient designs. You seek deeper meanings in things that you see and want your actions to make the world a better place.
