Finished coffee-wolf sculpture. I made a piece based on this drawing by @asmeesh earlier this year, and have finally gotten around to painting it. Voilà:

I was actually working with a pretty limited palette, since I only have One brown and it's far too light, so the color scheme is a little blander than I'd like. Eh, call it an intentional decision to make it feel more Bleary or something.

The mug is really the center of the piece, so naturally it had to have some kind of cheery little logo-

The face was good to paint. Emphasizing the groggy expression was fun. As was working with the various subtle tones of grey, white, and brown.

Good project, but I am glad to have it done at last.
