NMB Fashion Trinity & MITSUMUE KAORU selected for KANSAI COLLECTION 2016 SPRING & SUMMER

NMB48 has been selected as the "LIVE GUEST" for the KANSAI COLLECTION 2016 SPRING & SUMMER to be held at the Kyocera Dome on the 28th of February 2016. Furthermore, Watanabe Miyuki, Yoshida Akari and NMB's upcoming beauty girl, Ota Yuuri have also been chosen as models for the fashion event and they will appear alongside other professional models like Nakamura Risa and Mitsumune Kaoru.




The theme for this year is the very JB-esque question「What do you like？」 .

Funfact: Milky's rumoured ex Fujita Tomu will also apear as a male model.

TomoTomo returns to bless our lives once again

The swag general of the entire 48 group franchise Itano Tomomi and her equally glorious yet severely under appreciated BFF Kasai Tomomi (together known as Tomotomo) were recently spotted in the studio together.



According to Chiyuu's official blog post, the dynamic duo will be reuniting for Tomochin's 10th anniversary event held on the 17th of January where they will commemorate ten years of their beautiful friendship.

MAYUYU TO STAR IN PERIOD DRAMA AS A LESBIAN PALACE MAID

AKB48's ace and leader of the anti D squad, Mayuyu has been cast in character as a lesbian palace maid in Ooku, a period drama set in the Edo era. Her character's name is Oshima and she will have love scenes with the lead character played by Erika Sawajiri.



Aside from that she also had to learn classical Japanese dance and also the koto (traditional Japanese stringed musical instrument). To the surprise of the crew, Mayuyu learned the koto with just 2 hours of practice.



Ooku will premier on Jan 22!

Watanababe Miyuki + NMB Queens featured in Special Ed LARME

Watanabe Miyuki, Shiroma Miru, Yagura Fuuko, Kinoshita Haruna, Murase Sae and Yoshida Akari will all be featured in LARME magazine's special edition issue titled FURISODE JAPONAISE. The issue comes out on the 18th of December 2015. Milky is featured on the cover.

Fujita Nana's single explained + PV Previews

2015's Janken Queen Fujita Nana recently had a press conference for her debut solo single titled Migiashi Evidence to be released on the 23rd of December 2015. The title translates to evidence of the right foot and it is a reference to the muscles on her legs which serves as evidence of how she had practiced ballet for 8 years. She also wears a garter belt on her right thigh to put emphasis on her legs.

She expects to sell 20,000 copies of it.

The PV featuring some amazing dancing on the streets of Shibuya was also released on the yotube channel earlier today.

Takamina, Acchan, Yuko, Tomochin and Mariko to appear in AKB48's 43rd Single senbatsu

At tonight's generally boring Kouhaku, Takamina's fans were blessed with a pleasent surprise! Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby will not be the former general manager's last senbatsu appearance as the Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby senbatsu will be returning for the 43rd single, to be released on the 9th of March 2016. It will be the actual 10th anviversary single.

In addition to the Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby senbatsu members, the senbatsu has been expanded and it'll look alot like this.



Aside from Takamina, graduates like Acchan, Yuko, Mariko and Tomochin will also be returning for the 43rd single senbatsu! Takamina was only informed of this yesterday.

Akimoto Sayaka can not believe that she got dropped from senbatsu, even after graduation.






Rising star Mukaichi Mion is the final addition to this senbatsu, making it a nice 21.

Oh and Team A's stage will be titled M.T. ni Sasagu. The title translates to "In Dedication of M.T." whereby M.T. refers to the one and only Takahashi Minami. AKS has also confirmed that they plan not to postpone it.
