Padma means "lotus", which is an aquatic plant. No, she is not an aquatic plant... but maybe she was in a past life? ...uhm, maybe not.
Hemangini means "girl with a golden body". Shh, don't tell Aldrick... he'd have too much fun with that. :]
Update: Aldrick now knows Padma's middle name. And he has too much fun with it.
Nicknames: Paddie, Pad, Pads, Padders, Paddie Cake, Lotus girl with the golden body [...], Padma the Lotus. Mostly, people just call her Padma. Aldrick insists on calling her these nicknames, however. Padma hates the nickname "Padders," but he calls her that anyways.
