Howdy. Playasia have a fair bit of Animal Crossing merchandise. A couple of things I've posted before, but there's some newer cool stuff which maybe you might not have seen.

By the way, I just wanted to enquire about this so-called mysterious cat visitor I keep hearing about... do you have to actually be visiting someone/have someone visiting you to get this cat, or just connected to Wi-fi? I just opened my Wi-fi gates and I'm wondering if I'm likely to get this visitor at any point?

Here's a list of things to be looking out for in October:

Events:

Flea Market - 1st Saturday of October
Acorn Festival - 2nd week of October
Fishing Tourney - 3rd Sunday of October

The Acorn Fest. is a new event that only happens in October. Acorns are dropped by non-fruit bearing trees, but if there are items, flowers or weeds around the base of the tree, you will not find any acorns there. Pine trees do not drop acorns either. Give the acorns to Tortimer to receive the non-purchasable MUSH FURNITURE!.

After gathering the acorns, check your inventory for rotten acorns and discard them before talking to Tortimer, otherwise the acorns you give to him won't count toward getting more furniture pieces.

The increments for getting new furniture pieces are as follows 5, 10, 25, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 170, 200, and 230 acorns respectively. Start as early as possible, it's going to take you a while to get the required 230 acorns ;) It might be a good idea to remove some of your fruit trees and replace them with normal trees now, then change them back again after the Acorn Fest.

If you give Tortimer more than one lot of acorns in a day, he'll also give you a fortune, which will give you a chance to get the Tortimer Paper.
