Founded in 1983, Ohr Torah Stone was established to provide Jews of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds with meaningful opportunities for Jewish learning that inspire lives devoted to Torah, ethics, and leadership.
Torah Judaism is timeless, speaking to every individual in every generation. The very word halakha — Jewish law — comes from the root lalechet, “to go.” This teaches that our laws “walk alongside us” through the ages; our traditions are forever relevant, and the answers to the challenges of contemporary life can be found within our ancient sources.
